  • OOC: Most Trusted Advisor's absence

    While I do have email and forum access from my In-Law's, I had not realized it would be over a 28.8 dialup! As such, I find it pratically intolerable to navigate the forums, and have not checked in as often as I said I would.

    I can see there are exciting events happening, and the diplomatic decisions over the next few turns will be very important. I will return home on the 29th, but on a red-eye flight, so I will only really return to normal participation on the 30th.

    Happy Season's Eatings!

        Well, with both Togas AND dejon gone, that basically makes me the only one handling saves this weekend.

        Will do.

          Arnelos, since you're the only leader here, perhaps it's time to make your mark?

          Oh, great leader? You returned from your trip early? How lucky we are! I was just telling Arnelos how much we miss your gracious and guiding hand while you are away

            Christofo de Torquemada said : quite ideal time for a golpe with the Dictator and his Most Terrific Advisor away. I must watch more attentively than ever. I have heard some seditious words from a guy whose ancestors where already classified as *suspect* 8 centuries ago.
            *Torquemada shouts : Quesecome ! Come on !
            *The heads of Domingo Quesecome and of his three brothers appear at the door.
            * Domingo Quesecome : Domingo ?
            * Lunes Quesecome : Lunes ?
            * Martes Quesecome : Martes ?
            * Miercoles Quesecome : Miercoles ?
            * Torquemada : No right now! Double shift until Togas return.

              Señor adaMada:

              Señor Arnelos: You can count that the family Fernandez will back your wise leadership, support and help you in everything we can until things go back to normal.

                Yes, it is true - I have become spoiled, and take my cable connection at home for granted. I haven't had to use dialup since the mid 90's. I sympathize greatly for those of you who do - E_T's latest wonderful merged map took 2 minutes to load here yesterday. I'm also a little cranky because this is an old machine, and they only have IE installed (blech). I know, I know, I just sound more spoiled and snobby there, but being a developer, I am accustomed to working with the best of everything.

                To the rest of you (you know who you are) - Beware! The Togas and Dejon families are large - there is always someone watching...
