In 3250 B.C., we should have 17 beakers left until Bronze Working.
If we place Madrid's one worker on the wheat (as I believe we should and would like to order as Governor of Madrid), we would then have 5 trade. If we used 4 of these for beakers, that would put us within 1 beaker of Bronze Working in 4 turns (so then we'd tweak the slider down to around 10-20% for that last turn).
Under this plan, we should get Bronze Working in 5 turns, but we'll lose a little money in the process (since we have so many warriors and we'll have the settler). No worry, however, because we'll get a little boost to income when we tweak the slider on the 5th turn AND we have a monetary reserve more than able to accomodate the likely short-term rise in maintenance fees.
The 5 turns to Bronze Working would also be well-timed with the 5 turns it will take for Madrid to grow back to Pop 2 (when its production can be switched to spearmen, having only completed 5/10 shields toward a warrior as a placeholder).
