    [OOC]

in a roleplaying sense...in this Ancient age, there is no way the records would last as long as we could keep them in our modern digital age. We would have to "lose" them sooner or later. I think its best that it be edited, atleast untill we reach an age better known for record keeping.

Heck, this is information that, logically, we shouldnt have.

          ruby_maser,

the land area should be 30 tiles (21+9).

It is almost certain that ND has founded the 3rd city.

What are the conditions for the second city to expand the cultural border ?
          Statistical anomaly.

You're right, Señor DAVOUT. Thank you. I had the 3000 sq. miles right but I forgot to update the amount of tiles. I'll make it so.

Culture. For us, Pamplona won't go anywhere until we get a temple in there.

              EDIT: updated for 2550 B.C.

Land Area: 3000 sq. miles (21 tiles), rank: 3
Two teams (at least) currently have either as little as 2 cities with full city radii or 3 cities. ND is one with 3 cities, IIRC.
One of them is ND, no doubt, with three cities.

              The other... probably Lego.

How many turns it takes for a city with a temple to expand the cultural border?

Is it shorter for a religious civ ?

The city cultural borders expand when the city reaches 10, 100, 1000 and 10,000 cultural points. If a city reaches 20,000 points the game is won by its civilization.

A temple produces 2 culture points per turn, so it will take 5 turns for Pamplona to expand its border from size 1 to 2 when the temple is finished.

Being religious makes temples and cathedrals cost half. That's 30 shields while its normal cost is 60 shields.

IIRC, temples for all civs will produce 2 culture points. Growth comes at 10 culture points. That would make it 5 turns after a temple goes up that the borders will expand. Note, though, that a library, etc. will expand the borders to; however, I'm not sure it would be 5 turns later.

Though our border won't expand faster, we can build the temples faster since they are cheaper for us.

FYI: The other IS Legoland... Nimitz told me himself (assuming he can be trusted about such an issue and he has no reason to lie about it).

                              Legoland has 3-4 cities:

Legopolis, Jacksonville, and Farmville are names he gave me for the first three.

Nimitz told me that barbarians were a rather pesky problem for them on their sizable continent all by themselves.

He also told me that their settler for founding City #4 was already en route to its destination and that was now a turn ago, so it's entirely possible that city was founded over the past turn.
