Yes, once philosophy comes around, we might like to try our hands as ostracization, an ancient practice most commonly used by the Greeks, the Romans, and the Celts. We vote on what political person is causing the most trouble and unrest in the civilization, or who threatens private lives the most, and we vote on whether or not to ostracize him, to cast him out from the tribe. Amoung the Greeks, Thucydides and Themistocles all suffered this punishment.

Perhaps. We might all like to contribute thinkers to go around and...think. We might even produce dialogues and the like.
Also, I agree that a threat is not an abuse of power. What does constitute as an abuse of power is a threat, and then to say that because of one's powerful position one will escape punishment.Empire growing,
Pleasures flowing,
Fortune smiles and so should you.

Yea, that's one point...
And the other is:
To create controversial characters, might improve the roleplay.
If everyone plays the same, it would be less fun.
We should sometimes risk getting killed, exiled or whatnot.
No need to be afraid of anyone, unless you have a further plan
with that character...
You got the whole grande familia, don't ya?My words are backed with hard coconuts.
