  • A note about dynastic names for the annals [OOC]

I hope that all the despots of the line of Togas won’t be named just Togas because that will get awfully confusing. I thought it would be interesting if all the despots of the Togas line had the -tog- syllable somewhere in their name, hence Eneretogo and not Enero. Perhaps Eneretogo could be the formal name for the chronicles.

Remember my names Estogar, Togoran, and Vetogallo for the use of future despots. What might also be realistic is if names fall in and out of fashion as the centuries progress and old names are dropped and new names come in. Hey, maybe I could have polls on the names!

I am trying to make my names sound Stone Age or Bronze Age.

If everyone likes, I could be the channeler of the Spirit of Historical Fate and say how many years have been allotted to each despot as they come in.

You would have anointed as a priest first; none but a priest may speak to the spirits.

      "Togas" is the family name.

In the beginning, there was only Togas the First, but as he had children (and many of them) he would give them each surnames. The oldest male child is Enero Togas, but he would really only be around for the next turn, after that would be his son Martin Togas, and there would be a new Togas for each turn thereafter.

So to keep things simple, just call the Despot "Togas". From time to time I'll use different first names but while we're in the early BC era names change so fast we should just ignore it and stick with mostly family (Dynastic) names.

When (and if) I am no longer Despot we can then mark the end of the Togas dynasty.
