I, Senor Iwana Eta Tamali have sent some of my strong & wise sons to scout out this new valley that we have found. They will have a Report for our Great Leader and his people when they have returned.

    [OOC]

I've made some pictures from the posted screen shot with a close up of the valley. I've also have some possible placements (based on that same screenshot) for out next 4 City Sites.

Unfortunatly, I can't post them for a bit, until my FTP space gets straighten out. My ISP is changing hands and I'm lucky that I'm online at the moment. I have NO E-mail & nothing that I have in my FTP space is showing up at the moment. And the new company's tech support isn't open after 9PM

    [/OOC]

As my Family are Wonderers by trait, I offer our services to our leader in this, out glorious Exploritory & Expanionary effort.

      Good morning soldiers.
Where are we? I got this huge hangover...

I think you should pick up your axes so we can head northwards,
to see where the running water has it's origin. I suspect there could be settlements in that direction.

I strongly vote for exploring the valley soutwards were we intend to build our second city. We must discover if these lands are safe or not
        Señor Nuclearis Winterius the III,
Diplomat with the Voxians, and also
Señor Pablo Winterius, missionary Bishop and Archbishop of the Roleplay team

I must say that we must be able to defend our second city well, but I do want to see it built shortly.
          Empire growing,
          Pleasures flowing,
Fortune smiles and so should you.

            Muy importante.

            OOC:
If the expedition Pedro Peligroso is leading now bumps into another unit, what do I do? I think diplomacy can start then,
and as a travelling representative of Spain, Pedro would love to make the initial contact, as meeting roleplay with that team. Afterwards, the respective ambassador takes over main contact and deals with them...

Then first we’ll need Señorita Muybonita to raise an army of like-bodied persons to match Señor Dejon’s

Should the wandering Explorers Guild run into any representatives from other tribes, please greet them immediately with a short but friendly notice, send message back to us, and we shall send our ambassador to formally arrange for contact and trade with their nation.

TEG - courier arrives in Madrid:
                  ----------------------------------------

                  Olá!
                  Señor dictatore, and all countrymen...

We have not yet run into any foreigners, just lots of monkeys...
If we do run into more advanced species like our own kind,
we will of course spend some time with them, if they are non-hostile. And perhaps join them in some of their social activities.
                  - As long as we do not inhale anything, we would be safe.

As classified 'top secret' our mission will of course not be discussed with anyone we meet. I can reassure you this.
We have seen the big snakes, and we are marching on
tomorrow by dawn. Wish us luck!

                  yours, Pedro Peligroso

We are now using 3 warrior groups to explore.

I am sending the Explorer's Guild to the West to find out more about Cow Valley.

I have sent the new Magyar group south west along the coastline to tell us more about this newly discovered part of the world.

I have sent the sons of Madrid north east along the coastline. They will soon turn north and travel past the Great Spanish Mountains.

I have asked Dejon to post a short shot of these proposed exploration paths, but I would appreciate the counsel of the guild on the best exploration plan.

I would like to point out that the river alongside Gold Mountain goes into the mountains further SW. There may be another nice river vally at the end of the mountain ridge.

we should have used to road for the explorers traveling to the north.... we'd be one tile further onward.

Doh! I should have seen that, despite the orders. Sorry.

                              Drat!

I should have seen that as well!

Does anyone think the TEG group should go W, N or is W, W better?

The Magyars may end up going SW, SW, W ... we'll see what is uncovered.

This is just a guess, but my clairvoyance suggests that the Magyars are gonna hit the ocean in the direction they are going and will be able to loop westward too.

But, alas, as clairvoyant halfwits go, I predict many things and half are wrong.
