[OPINION POLL] Squid: Symbol or Meal?

The Spanish people need no symbol. They are what they are. The greatest people on Earth.

But, saith the Big Thought Man, I predict that one day such Big Thoughts will be fashionable and everyone will be saying them at the drop of a hat while they walk about their daily business, not in the sea. (Which is the sq**d, by the way.)

I suggest an iron fist in an iron glove, with a squid on top of it, looking toward the future.

I am confused! Squid is both a symbol and a food! As such, I'll vote 0 times and the 0 votes for Symbol will cancel out the 0 votes for Meal.

mrmitchell, I'll tell you what...

The Squid is a magnificent creature! It's polymorphic and adaptive. A smart little silent nightrunner... Hunts crabs, crawls upon dry land sometimes, and the big ones even strangles sharks when they swim too deep. (!!!)
They can assume many different colours and shapes...
They can look formless!

So they kinda symbolize the idea polymorphism and adaptiveness, yet we humans catches them and eats them.
After all, we do outsmart them buggers

BTW: Calemares is a good meal, and so are the whalebeef. "Intelligent food for intelligent people",
we use to say in Norway.
Perhaps we can say that in our game too?
