Our beloved leader needs to know objectively the extent of his popularity. The members of the tribe are therefore requested to answer the following question :

Do you think that Togas is the very best leader we could ever hope ?

You choose the answer most in line with your feelings :

    Answer I : YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
    Answer II : Enthousiastically, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

          /me raises eyebrow

What exactly is DAVOUT up to...?

BTW, do we know what civs the others have chosen yet? If not I have a source I can ask.

Dammit - I need a "dodgy-looking" smiley right there. I'll settle for this big innocent grin.

Well, it seems that everyone finds Togas' leadership to be favorable. Excellent.

That's incredible! I cannot believe how can anyone dare to question the popularity of our BEST leader ever!

We don't need a poll because we already know that.

Yes, once again, the Davouts seem to be doing something very sneaky. If it wasn't Hastragal Gisgar accusing everyone of being untrustworthy (good thing I filled his squids with squibs, heh heh...err...I mean...), then it's his Spanish friend who seems to be taking a census on the popularity of our beloved leader Togas who is without a doubt the most beloved, most gracious, most brilliant man on this Earth. I can only think that this "Davout" must either be a terribly well paid spy...or a brown nose!

Dont worry, Thrumble, there is absolutely no risk. In fact, I, Juan de Torquemada, is the one who invented and developed, with the technology available in 4000 BC, the tourniquet, also named the garrot. When barbarians in the foggy northern islands despatched the criminals with an axe, or more sophisticated neighbours will later display their delicate creativity with a machine named guillotine remarquable in that it was useless for anything except cutting human heads, we showed to the world how a real civilization behave : taking the life of criminals, but letting the head attached to the body.

This invention will be soon offered to the Supreme Leader, and I will just have to measure the neck of all tribemen, to be ready, just in case...

Well considering Togas is also the ONLY leader ever, I don't see how he can be anything other than the best.

Poor old Torquemada, in his haste to be loved, has forgotten that tourniquets actually staunch wounds, as garrotes they are pretty awful. Now, take a squid, for instance. There we have a real executioner's weapon. Wrapping it around the head will soon cause suffication (or if the squid is big enough, the head will soon be eaten). Yes, I think that the squid should be Spain's national execution device of choice, and will forward some for examination to Togas himself for tomorrow's executions!
