Thank you Lord Togas for allowing me to view the save. It has been many years since I received it, as the date was 520 ad. I wish to apologize for the tardiness of this report, sire. As you know, I have been a ghost for several centuries now, back when we were in the old lands.
Sire, I do believe, that we do have the possibility of regaining the homeland the evil devil kin NewDemogoptians have stolen from us. However, in doing so, it will require that we become friends with the one whom we detest as much as these heathens – the despicable Warmongers.
As of 520, our military is basic, plain, and, quite simply, insufficient to do shat. We have the following:
6 workers
2 pike
6 cats
1 galley
Undoubtedly, our military has increased since then, but not to any large extent. So be it.
To get GoW, we have to offer them something that they want. Simple, we offer them the old ND homeland. Complete. Everything from the den of inequity, Marlowa, north. They have been eyeing it for a long time, they have the ability to make it productive land, and we do not. This gives them a chance to be able to win. As they stand now, they have NO chance of winning. Remember your history. GoW is in dept to ND for one simple reason, at the very early stages of the game, GoW did not build any defenders, and when ND send a military scout (warrior I do believe), they entered GoW territory and offered to destroy them. ND forced GoW to bend over backwards and “take it like the men they wanted to be” in order to survive.
GoW hates ND.
OK, GoW hates everybody. But still, we can use that.
We also need to have our saviors, Gathering Storm, assist us. We owe them much, and we will continue to do so. We will eventually give them this loaned province back, and we shall reoccupy our homeland. We shall go to the end of the game, giving them gold and technology so that they may win. We understand that and accept that. What we are after from now on is not to win, but to seek revenge on those who wronged us.
The plan is simple. We need a force of transports that can move 12 units at once. GS needs to be able to move 20. They already have their navy, and will soon be able to move even more units as they upgrade. We need to get 3 more Galleys, and prepare to upgrade.
Our first move is to drop two settlers, one due south of Yellow Knife by us and one at the site of Old Madrid, by GS. GS needs to build a city, and then load it with 12 defenders and 6 cats. They may also want to bring over a worker or some offence. GS will take a beating from ND. GoW may offer to come to ND aid, and march their troops through ND territory. Good. Our city due south of Yellow Knife gets formed 2 turns later. GoW will have to give us a Right of Passage. Our city has only a couple of defenders (in case ND send someone over that way) but is used more for dropping off our secret weapon, our Conquistadors.
We need horses to build them, they attack at 3, defend at 2, and can move 6 squares in enemy territory. We need to have 6 of them at least. Our objectives are to cut off their horses, followed by their saltpeter, then iron, then luxuries.
At this point, no team will be in a GA, and GS will have access to cavalry. ND will be close to Cavalry, and they may get it even before we can attack, but so be it.
GS needs to ferry over into their new city, as it is taking a beating, as many offensive units as possible to kill off the enemy army. We send raiders into the enemy lands to cut their roads, supplies, and so forth. GoW takes their cities, starting with their most productive ones near their capitol.
This can be done. This is simply an initial plan. I have looked at it, and find that we can survive and regain our homeland.
Then who knows, we may even be able, once we get on our feet again, to kill off those heathens in GoW lands as well.
Speak now, or cower like dogs Spaniards!
