  • Spanish Republic

I propose that we form a simple Republic of sorts.

Each of our cities has a representative.

One of those representatives shall be voted on as our Leader

Decisions by that leader may be overruled by a majority vote.

Some decisions must first be approved by a majority (the group must pass laws specifying what decisions need prior approval).

    All in favor?

    --Togas

p.s. Also, claim your cities now! I claim Monterrey

      More ideas:

ONLY 5 Representatives. If more than one person wants to rep a city, we'll hold a monthly election for that spot.

The 5 Reps choose who will be the Leader (we need a good title for this).

The 5 Reps make the laws.

The 5 Reps also should control their cities to a limited extent.

This could be a fun way to get more people involved. We've got to have 5 active members left, right???

Well...I'm active. I claim whichever is closest to the coast, seeing as I haven't actually seen a map these days. Ah well. I'm building a seaside villa and am having all of these really splendid parties. All of you chaps are, of course, invited. We have the most wonderful appetizers...squid is found in great quantities here.

I'll represent whichever city is closest to the water.

As it is, for a good name for leader, could I perhaps suggest: Consul?

            Glad to have you History

We just need two other active members and we can continue to hold a government here in Spain.

            We have 5 cities...

            Monterrey -- current capital city
Central city that borders the small lake. Size 7.
            Claimed by Togas.

El Paso -- northern most city
Also borders the lake. Not coastal. Size 8.
            Claimed by Arnelos

Santa Barbara -- western most city
Western harbor city of New Espania
            Claimed by History Guy

            San Diego -- Southwestern City
            claimed by BigFree

            San Antonio -- Southeastern City
Eastern harbor city of New Espania

Santa Barbara sounds good to me. Indeed, I claim it. The Calamari clan shall grow again, like happy squids in the warm spring water, spawning and increasing in numbers. Spain will one day become great and powerful and full of Togans, Clementes, and Calamaris.

Excellent, San Antonio will be governed by Francisco Cian, the last remaining son of Aidun Cian.

[ooc]Great the city with my favorite city name of the five! .

Good idea Togas. What should we begin without the leader?

As you may have noticed already, I have also restarted with the roleplay. This revival should have some content too, what do you think. AND we have to outproduce GoW in Roleplay. No matter what the future brings, we still can defeat them on THAT, and if it is up to me, we will do that.[/ooc]

The quiet figure of SrDondeEsta appears in the doorway.

If all that is required is a Spaniard who can show some leadership, I would like to volunteer to complete the Quintet. If we do not have the most power in this world, we can at least continue to prove our organisational and socio-political thought superiority.
