  • 390ad -- Turn Report

    From GS:
    Togas,

We will be abandoning Barcelona next turn and pillaging the roads to prevent GoW's advance. Scorched eath is so tragic when we've both been trying to rebuild the area with our workers, but such is our destiny.

Your workers nearr Barca can move 9, but if GoW advance thay should disband on the turn after.

Please leave road at Tol-3 and Tol-32 clear for our units coming south.

Perhaps you other workers could run into jungle?

Let us know if you need some cash to maintain your forces in Pamplona, and please get in touch anyway - we need to discuss the future.

    Regards,

    CH

Once we lose sea-contact with GS we lose our luxes, our resources (iron), and our chance at gunpowder.

When Barcelona falls, Pamplona will be truely alone. Furthermore, New Madrid & Toledo will be dust.

Perhaps we should talk to GoW again regarding peace. I don't have much confidence, but I could send Aggie a PM again.

I think we're better off talking to Neu Demogyptica about a seperate peace. ND has most of the territory they want and if they have even a fraction of a brain, have far more to be worried about concerning their alliance fracturing after the peace and ND getting the boot.

Let's see if ND has any brain cells left after their wild drinking binge of a war. If they're really going to play the dupe for Legoland and Glory of War, there may not be much hope. Best bet might be to contact Legoland, then finally Glory of War.

Does anyone have ANY contact information for Neu Demogyptica? We need that and we need it now.

          Importante:

I will be gone from Thurs - Sun (dec 11-14) and will not be able to play the save.

I'd like for BigFree to play it while I'm away, if he doesn't mind.

And I'm fully in support of you guys if you can work out something with GoW or ND. Maybe it's time to cut our losses.

Do what you can Togas, and I agree with Arnelos's proposal.

OK, once again, the save hates me.

I tried to CYCLE through the cities using the arrow buttons, upon reaching Toledo, it showed Toledo's WF, but called the city "Harry's Hideout" and then crashed on me.

I need BigFree to play the save.

ISSUE: We have 2 trapped workers. GS left us no avenues of escape from the GoW hordes coming in and our galley cannot reach them. We are going to have to disband them both.

We have a few other workers near Madrid, I suggest that we move them onto the Nina and send them to North Estonia.

                Move the pikeman into Toledo.

Make sure to adjust Pamplona as ND is coming for us and has messed up our WF.

                That's about it.

It crashes on me as well now.

I played the turn and changed the WF in Toledo using the Govenor.

I moved to the two workers closer to GS units. They play before GoW or ND so maybe they can delcare war on us for a turn and capture those workers for themselves, for now, then maybe give them back later. I think that's better than just disbanding them.

                  The other workers were "frozen."

Why do we keep not getting NM back? That city was pushing out a Pike every two turns for crying out loud!

It looks like someone played the game with C3C rather than PTW... that would be my suspicion as to why the game would crash. I'll bring this up in the public forum.

How could they play it with C3C? They have different .exe files. You would not be able to even open the save, never mind actually play a turn.
