I wonder if the cause of the crash isn't that GS has sent to us Toledo and New Madrid twice.

Ok.
I have been able to access NM and Toledo by first accessing Pamplona then using the arrow keys to rotate to the other cities. I'm attaching a screen shot here that seems to show a part of the problem. It shows that the citizens of GS instaed of our own. It also shows only 3 citizens when there are 7 on the WF screen. We may be able to play this way and pass it onwards. I think we should try and see what happens.

I think that we shouldn´t try things out and see what happens. If loss of production occurs, that gives ND-GoW another advantage. Let´s report this.
Also thing that the more delay we get,. the "sooner", in terms of turns, Lego will side with us, the less turns are played without Lego, the less turns we achieve a relative loss to when Lego would side with us.
Lets delay this and use the time to work out an alliance so that the first thing Nimitz can do when he comes in charge is approving this.
Second; what do we going to produce right now, Knights, MI or pikes? I can hardly access the game because I´ve got the internetconnection at another PC than my own PC with PTW.
Third; for those of you who are going to play the game, I´d like to have another division of soldiers to lead. Perhaps you could select a nice one and name it Lord Aidun´s Regiment?
Oliver, Yes there was a bug with the RoP´s
Fourth; we also need to report the information we have to GS, especially about the Musketman, and perhaps even more important, to Lego, to show them that ND-GoW is now a serious thread to future world peace, that it is now or never, now or too late. we must have the technology and saltpeter to keep standing against the Axis of Evil.
To his Royal Highness:
Your grace, when will your coronation be? [ooc]I´m sure we could make a nice story of that and do as our teamname suggests: roleplaying. If we´d loose the war it´ll be too late for it. [/ooc]
Respectfully,
Lord Aidun Cian, son of the perished Aidun Cian."Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise can not see all ends." - J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring.

Looking at the screenshot of New Madrid, those are CHINESE people in there! What the hell? We've never captured any GoW workers and merged them, and they've never owned the city.
Can we have GS replay the turn and just offer the cities to us ONCE? That might fix the problem.

I have loaded the game through the MP PBEM screen. It seems to work fine that way. I can access all cities with out it crashing. The only thing that is different than from before is that the cities that were gifted back to us this turn, Toledo and NM. Those cities have shields in the box. Previously, when we recieved a gifted city, we lost production for that turn. There were no shields in the box. The shileds that are produced from the other team having it were also lost in the past. This way, the shileds, since the other Civ gave it to you during their last turn, end up being applied to the new cities owner.
The RoP is intact as are all trade deals. I think we just found a way around this bug.
What do you guys think?
To load the game this way, choose MP, then choose PBEM, then choose "load game" under game types, then choose the current save sent to us. That is it. I think this was the way it was intended to be played. At the end of your turn, the game reminds you whom to send the next turn to.

It does not crash for me.
Upon the game loading up I choose:
MultiPlayer-->Play by email--> go to "Game Mode" and choose "load game"--->choose current save sent to us by GoW---set turn timer to "none"---enter password and play.
The game does not crash on me, I can play the whole turn, and go into every city. I am using 1.27f

IF everything is kosher with the save and we have faith that this bug will not cause future crashes, then let's play the save via the load method BF describes.
In fact, I'm perfectly happy with BF playing this turn and posting the results. I'll be at work for the next 4 hours and too busy to do it.
If, however, we have doubts about the stability of the save, we should request the whole turn be replayed.
I'll leave the final decision to BigFree (who has found a way to get the save working) and check back here when I get home to see what the results are.
