Hopefully GS will have gifted back Toledo and NM. Otherwise, very little planning to do, we have little attack forces.

I will try to get GS to give us Horse's for one turn, then we declare war on them in order to give it back to them(it's the only way to do it, this game's tade/diplomacy features are not complete). This would allow us to upgrade our one Horse to Knight and to start builds for Knights in all of our cities (4 of them). Once the builds are started, it doesn't matter if we have Horses or not, we can finish those builds as long as we don't change production mid build.

Theseus wrote to me saying that he sent Arnelos Screen shots and plans for the war. Where are they exactly?

Congratulations Arnelos, how unfortunate that I checked this forum but today, otherwise I could have taken a lastminute flight to attend to your party ...

... If I'd had the money of course .

            Back on topic:
What I but wonder about is why we would produce expensive knights instead of cheap pikemen when our defences are low?
Isn't it better to build up a defensive force in Pamplona to defend it against Riders and Ansars? The ND-GoW attackforce of about 30 ansars and 40 riders has still to attack and we can't rely on GS alone for our defense.
Second argument in favor of pikemen is that when the musketteer makes his entry on the battlefield, knights, Riders and Ansars become more dated. Pikemen are easily upgraded to musketteers and provide excellent defense against knight/Rider/Ansar attacks after the upgrade. Why then produce a few expensive units of which GS has a lot, knowing that they will soon become dated?

I suggest that we concentrate on what is our strength: building up defence forces against the main attackforce and therefore concentrating on pikemen while GS concentrates on counter-attack forces of knights and assisting defensive forces consisting of pikemen.

We have the save here. I've posted it at the intended thread.

The good news: The 19 veteran and 1 elite GS knights are still there.

The bad news: We can see one (for the moment just one) ND musketman.

              Some other things:

              - We have back New Madrid, Toledo, New Madrid, and Toledo (They offered each city twice to us )
              - Barcelona finishes the barracks!

              Important:
Right of passage with GS finish this turn. We should send them another RoP offer using the diplo screen.

I've checked and it doesn't crash with me. Maybe someone else can tell if his computer crashes or not?

                          Damnit!

When I clicked on Toledo to adjust the WF the game crashed!!

Just reloaded. Can't get into New Madrid either. This is horrible.

Do we report this to Trip?

I just tried to use the F1 key to get to the cities. Game crashes again, however, it may be a problem that continues to exist until I reset my computer.

Please, if anyone else else has the save, open it up and test it.
