Sorry for not showing up this entire week, but my internetconnection fell down before I could inform you that I had to do my job in the initiation period of my students club. We now have 2 new members .

That aside, I inform you from the talks I had with Sharpe prior to the talks Arnelos had, that Sharpe informed me that there is no saltpeter in the areas occupied by both GS and us on Bob and Estonia. Just the gift of gunpowder to us wont make much difference. We need both gunpowder and saltpeter.

As for Vondrack, my personal experiences with Vondrack form the ISDG are very, very negative, which was the reason I kind of ´left´the ISDG. I am still a member, but only because it interests me to see the progression in the game.

My experience is that Vondrack is a clear example of a person who has a goal to get as much power as possible. If he can become a dictator, he will become a dictator, a much worse one than our good old King Togas .

In my talks with Share he displayed that already to me.

Comparative govenment and statedesign of Legoland and Spain.

The problem with Legoland is that of lack of a real threat has made the members of Lego simply lazy: they talk only. Legoland never faced a moment in which they really had to make crucial decisions which would greatly influence the future of their nation: everything was done with great ease.
This laziness is the reason why Vondrack could somewhat seize power: it did not matter who led Legoland, because there were no realy serious issues for which it did matter who was wielding the sceptre.

In our team the situation is much different: we had to made many crucial decisions which caused our nation to have become what it now is.
It also did matter who was leading the team: that is why we have had a real parliament instead of the more or less democratic, consensus-based system in which we simply present our opinion.
It also did matter that we had a strong leadership and that decisions could be taken in a fast and efficient way without limiting the freedom of our members to influence the decisionmaking. After all we have found out that a centralized leadership, a King, is the best way to govern Spain. But that having a parlianment in time of peace is a good way to keep our members involved and to give then the feeling that their opinion does matter.

All this fighting in our team has not been useless roleplaying:
If you compare all nations in our PTWDG world, we have through the process that went on in all modern werstern nations in the real world, created a perfect state. The Roleplay team would have, if not backstabbed and betrayed by one nation after the other, become the most powerful nation in the world.
I believe that is part of the reason why GoW and ND and, more or less, Legoland have declared war on us.

This is what I find so interesting about this game, apart from that I find it very exciting to see the international politics happening before my own eyes.

Ways to get a decision in our favor made by Legoland:
    - Making clear that they do face a big threat although is is concealing itself with this war so that they are stimulated to make a decision rather than just to keep talking.
    - Trying to get another Legoman step forward to compete with Vondrack for the power over Legoland.
    - Trying to make them understand that what is being decided by Vondrack now, will influence and affect the rest of the Game for Legoland and that if they do not support us now, there is no chance left for lego to step back to avoid war with GoW and ND.

I still want to attack Legoland if we survive this war.

I know that we cannot win, but I will be more than satisfied if we make Legoland pay for what they have done us. A bunch of bohemian rulers who are too lazy to even care what is happening as long as everything goes fine for them. Maybe Vondrack has taken advantage of their lazyness, but all of them are guilty for making it possible. Legoland lands deserve to live what out own lands are living now. Death, destruction, misery... I swear that shall this war end in a favourable ending for us, me, or my family if God has called my to His side by that time, will not rest until Legoland has what they deserve.

And I also say, let's declare war to them right now. There is nothing we can get from them, and they can hurt us really bad by investigating Pamplona. We cannot allow this.

        Good point OliverFA

Lego can easily spy in our capitol. It's very dangerous at this stage of the game. I support declaring war to them.

I think it is time for this....

Even if they are only Tech/Lux allies with GoW and or ND, they are helping those two in a war against RP by providing them those things.

Oh well, not much interest in them keeping to that agreement, at least not on vondracks part. I wonder what would happen if we just made that Pact public and let other teams comment on it, and for us to just remain silent for a while?

Right now, I don't see any tangible benefit... so I'll save the card for when I do...

            BF,

You do have a point... I certainly find it tempting. That said, I'd rather remind them of the treaty and threaten to declare war if they dare to fight GS while GS attempts to help save us.

If they do not listen, we not only declare war, we publicly post that line of our treaty.

Once we've declared armaggedon, we've declared armaggedon. Until then, however, I'd rather use the threat (with the very clear signal that we're entirely serious) than the action as a last-ditch effort to knock them off their current course (assuming we've given up reasoning with them).

I say we launch ourselves into full war now. Trying diplomacy with these goddamned sons of a b*tch is useless, they are not man enough to withhold their words.
