Perhaps we should start making our plans for new settlers. I know it is far to early to actually build any, but future locaitons as it apprears that ND and GoW are going to scoarch earth in their retreat.

At least WE didn´t kill any of our own citizens, don´t we fell better for that?
We must start planing this indeed; we also need to start planning some war plans.
Maybe a big ´´unit moves picture´´ with arrows showing the moves and the motives behind the move... to help us coordinate with the GSians.

I suspect it's too early for replanning (we don't actually know if we'll get out of this alive), but I suppose it is better to start on it early.

What we need to know first is what our terrain will look like when the enemy is done with it. Hopefully they won't be able to burn as much as the Egyptians can take back. The best thing that can happen is that they expend a great deal of troops trying to defend their holdings, but I doubt that will happen. The Chinese are in disarray, but the Arabs will be difficult to defeat. The Chinese are more likely to burn what they have now than the Arabs are. They seem, from the presence of their new borderforts, to be preparing to defend their new gains.

I'm the new Lord Toledo, Headwig Calamari. Alas, my uncle is dead. In his will, I received his title and all his estates at Chalfont and Squiddimark. I pray God that these vandals shall never fly their flag over the house of a Calamari. We shall never give in!

How goes with you, old friend?

Save is here. It will be played in the next 6 hours. I will be gone tonight and most of tomorrow.

                  Notes:

ND has ONLY 2 pikes and 2 inf on the mountain. Their Ansars and other units have moved elsewhere, probably to combat the GS threat.

                  We have Toledo.

Nothing has been received from Lego

We have 2 silks! The silk road was never cut, we can now give silk to GS.

                      Results

We have been given back Toledo.

ND has pulled back all but 4 troops (2 pike, 2 inf) from the mountain.

WM and Silks sent to GS

                      military:

                      New Pamplona Pike FORT
Pike near Toledo N into Toledo

                      Isabella S, S, W

                      workers:
                      no moves

                      cities:
Pamplona finished pike, starts on new pike (3 turns)
Pamplona: grows in 3, culture expands in 3.

The only change on the map was moving the pikeman into Toledo. No new screenshot taken for that reason.

It is also possibly a bait move. They may be fearful of attacking us at Pamplona, and hoping that reducing the mountain stack will encourage us to attack that important spot - thereby reducing our number of units in the attack, and by drawing them out of our capital.
