At least we are still average to ND. This, and the wise leadership of General Dejon gives us some hope.

        Senor Fernandez,

Well, it doesn't give us too much hope at all, really. But oh well. I wonder who would be better to join? Roleplay-wise, that is? Gathering Storm, Legoland, or Glory of War?!

I think things are getting better tahn never... We will get our Paladins next turn, and I shall guide them personally to victory. And we are finnaly back on the offense! EVEN if we happen to fall (although unlikely) I have my own plans of joining either Legoland or GatheringStorm. Maybe even Vox, really.Though never the heathens or the warmonmongers.

            I have complaints.

There are currently 2 pikemen and 1 spearman stationed near Vigo. Let me just ask: is there anyway these soldiers can possibly become any more useless!?

If we had a med inf or two with them then that would be a threat to the invaders and they would have to draw resources from other fronts to keep it. As it is they took Vigo with ONE med inf, and are garrisoning it with ONE pikeman. Am I the only one who sees the folly in this? Currently our defenders are just standing around as lookouts! Waste of weaponry?
And to top it off they havent even been able to stop the ansars moving through the mountains, or at least given fair warning so we could defend our WEAK south.

Get some offensive units to Vigo, put a healthy med inf on a mountain and some of the damaged ones with him, the enemy wont attack an army on the mountains and we can open a second front!

Your post shows you haven't been attending chats, or paying attention to turn reports.

              1) We cannot know what the Vigo assault force was, but we are fairly certain it included the two Ansars we now see in the south. They were shipped via galley - they didn't go through the mountains. We knew they were coming.

              2) I agree, those units are useless other the scouts at the moment. However, moving them will only likely expedite their death by calling attention to them. For now, it is useful, although minor, to keep a lookout on the coast and the mountain path.

As for the rest of your post, you plainly do not have a good grasp a) of our past and current resources; b) the tactics to survive war with an enemy with far superior manueverability; or c) how far down the list Vigo would be on our optimistic short-term objectives.

Sorry if I'm a bit defensive here, I do encourage feedback and input. You (and everyone else) are more than welcome to volunteer ideas in future turn threads and turn chats. Keep in mind that the unpredictability of war means that planning can't really be done prior to recieving the save, so the best way to help out is to attend turn chats. Right now the strategy gurus from Gathering Storm are outnumbering us each turn in #milOps, and I'd love to see more Spanish faces, and ideas.

Would someone please spell this GS scenario out? What is happening? Are they indeed turning, or did they just make a little...error?

Good Lord! Christ's Martyrs?! Those are my boys! What have they done to my boys?!

GEN. DEJON: General Calamari...you must reform your division...General Calamari...Look to your division, sir...

GEN. CALAMARI: General Deeeejon...I 'ave no division...
