-----------
As for Togas and dejon, their PCs would almost certainly have been in Pamplona, given our expectation that Pamplona rather than Zaragosa might be attacked this turn. Both the King and his General were therefore almost certainly in Pamplona prepairing for that city's defense.
Zaragosa was attacked while its lord, Duke Aidun Cian, was deathly ill. Duke Aidun's brother was in far off Legoland and his 11 year old son was not yet old enough to command the forces in the battle.
This leaves the following PCs as those who could have commanded our defense of Zaragosa in the battle:
Antonio Clemente (Arnelos)
Miguel Clemente (Arnelos)
Spamish Mitchell (mrmitchell)
All three of these were with units that were killed, though we could certainly have one of them survive (likely one of mine) so that a "battlefield promotion" would take place. I'm going to start writing a story for this and others are welcome to write their own, but please consult me on it so we get our story straight
(mrmitchell obviously should write of the death of Spamish Mitchell upon the field if he chooses to have Spamish Mitchell die as he previously stated).
As for me, I'll probably have one of my 2 PCs present die with his unit, the other survive the initial fight to lead whatever comes next (need a next chapter to this story anyhow).
I should get started on this if I'm ever going to finish it...
