  • Spanish Wargames

This space is dedicated to the conducting of various "wargames" and discussions based upon them which would pertain to the invasion of Spain by a foreign power.

Here, the Lords of Spain and others with a role in her defense may discuss such matters or report to others on their experiences with such games.

In the service of God, the Pope, and the the righteous Kingdom of Spain, may the games begin.

Nuclearis Winterius has taken the original map commissioned by King Togas and partially adopted a copy of it for use in such wargames. Specifically, I feel the need to credit him for having added the positions of our many cities and current military forces along with the positions of many Neu Demogyptican cities and much of their lands.

I have now gone a step further and added all the rest of Bob to the map and the many cities of both Neu Demogyptica and the Glory of War. I have also added in coastal and sea regions around the map that it would be possible to traverse should a participant in the games wish a particularly unorthodox strategy or if we wish to model the introduction of forces from beyond Bob.

Now that something of a template scenario has been completed, the next step will involve changing the Spanish situation to what we might expect when the Great Bobian War (aka "World War Bob") finally commences and various variations for what forces might be available to our opponent(s).

If the Lords of Spain would like to provide guidance on how Spain might look in the near future so that this simulation might accurately reflect pre-war conditions, that would be most helpful.

Additionally, suggestions for distribution of enemy forces in various variant scenarios would be helpful.

    Thank You.

I will help you with playing scenarios or making them, whatever you want, until 14 July. Then I depart to Ireland.

In the near future? Toledo will be size four, turning to five. That is, if it still stands unmolested by Ansars.
        Empire growing,
        Pleasures flowing,
Fortune smiles and so should you.

I may very vell try to help, to what little I can to the best of my ability.
I suggest we start with a very unoptimistic scenario,
Spain in 3 turns, Full Bobian war,no lego help.
I suggest the attackers try an atttack based on land operations with suplementary amphibious operations to a limited scale.
I think the defender should try to implement the evacuation of northern Spain back to the central cordillera of mountains that cuts Spain amidst.
We need a means with wich to guess a reasonable number of enemy offensive forces.

make it as big or even bigger than our defensive force and lets see what happens then.
