  • Short Vacation (OOC)

On Thursday June 19th after work I will be traveling and will not have computer access. I will return Sunday night, but because I have to prepare for court on Monday, I won't likely be very active again until Monday afternoon, June 23.

I'm sure things will run smoothly without me, however, we have been without OliverFA for some time now and it's time that a new 2nd in command be appointed.

I would like to ask Dejon to serve temporarily in this post, as he has done so in the past and done an excellent job, however, I would like the team to discuss who should be our 2nd in command and come to a decision by the time I return.

So, while I'm gone, Dejon will be in charge (if he accepts) of playing the save and settling any issues in Spain.

Of note, THIS TURN we have changed to version 1.21. Be sure to update your computers!

Of course I would be happy to help during your absence, Togas.

Now I'll finally get all the Med. Inf. I want!

Have all the DG's decided to upgrade to 1.21? I'll setup an dual installation just in case.

Hmmm, his Majesty King Justino Togas I wants to appoint Jaguar Dejon as his Stadholder until he returns?

I don't mind. Señor Libre would also do well.

We have to find a good RP solution for this.
I suggest that Torquemada is being imprisoned by the Church, but his followers keep on revolting. They demand the abdication of King Justino Togas I. Finally, they storm the palace in Pamplona. The King flees to Zaragoza, where he is under the protection of Duke Aidun Cian. From there the monarchists try to free Pamplona from republican rule. After several years of bitter civil war the monarchists capture Pamplona and Justino Togas I is King of Spain again.

Shall I start with writing? Anyone willing to help?

          Very nice

The Republicans rear their ugly heads again! I'm surprised we haven't seen more protests with the arrest of Torquemada ... and I'm surprised that the Republican movement isn't secretly gathering more supporters amongst the Lords and Nobles

I, the Ghost of GK, have been tireless (not that I need to sleep now) in helping defend the Togas Line and reporting all (well, the more interesting ones anyways) activities that I encounter that may cause issues with our current lord and protector.

In terms of second in commant - are there any people who want the job?

Via con dios, your Grace. I hope Penelope will not be lonely in your absence... but, what am I thinking? Señor Dejon will be staying in the palace to manage the affairs of state and keep her company (not necessarily in that order of course).

As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln
