Barcelona :

After the completion of our third Galley, and since the Egyptians seem to be quiet for a while, I think Barcelona needs a great improvement for its future development : an aqueduct.

Yes, currently its size is 5 pop and will reach the 6 size soon. Barcelona is both a ships factory and a commercial city. Its potential will be wasted if its size is limited to 6. But for military reasons, we need this improvement up ASAP. So the new WFs are : 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 and Barcelona will produce 5 shields per turn and grow in 12 turns. The borders of Madrid will expand in 2 turns and Barcelona will work its #9 tile consequently. Its growth rate will jump to 2 foods per turn and the food box will be filled at 6 pop size in 16 turns from now.

If a worker cuts the forest at the #6 tile, the Aqueduct will be ready in 18 turns from now and the city will grow quickly with its #6 tile later irrigated and roaded.

After that, this worker will mine the #7 hill tile in order to enhance the city productivity.

So I ask for a worker to be assigned to these tasks ASAP.

And as a matter of defense, Barcelona needs, in addition to the current sword (to be upgraded to Mil. Inf.), 2 pikes and 1 catapult ASAP.

I acknowledge your request. Depends on if I cannot find contradictory orders from E_T...

And I agree with your assessments of the forces required for Barcelona in the near future. Once New Madrid begins producing new units we will bring the first of them down the south coast to switch off the Swords in Barcelona and Valenica for upgrades.
