Do we have an embassy with Vox? And if so, do we plan on getting a Right of Passage agreement with them so that our "peacekeepers" can move about freely when they land?
"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln

"Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever, in flesh and blood, walked upon this earth." -- Albert Einstein, in regards to Mohandis Gandhi

Thay said that they would grant the ROP, so I would assume that an embassy exists. If not, I suggest we build one first as they will need all the gold they can get for upgrades.

Important note: I still have no decided to send troops to Vox. My most recent inclination is to not send them. Vox is going down like a sinking ship and I'm very much concerned that our 2 horsemen won't do squat to help Vox. Instead, they'll doom us as collaborators, put a stop to our galley expedition, and kill our recent lux trade offer.

Let's continue to give public support for PEACE between the two, and perhaps later offer to send peacekeepers to Vox if the political climate makes it appropriate.

We have an embassy with Vox, so no need to worry about building one.

I agree, my personal feelings after reading posts all day today is that the Vox thing is a lost cause. I was actually agreeing with BigFree last night on certain points, but now that I've had more time to analyze everything, I must change my mind.

Sending troops to help Vox in any way is a bad idea. Even if the rest of the world sides with Vox, I think GS is completely within their rights. If I were in their position, I wouldn't even offer them the chance of relocating, so I'm personally surprised at that gesture.

Anyways, to sending troops to Estonia. 2 horsemen is nothing more than a token gesture to Vox, and a gesture of war to GS. This isn't something we need.

I'm glad to see others start to see the futility of helping Vox...

As I said before, peacekeepers do not belong on a battlefield. As long as Estonia is a battlefield, don't send peacekeepers.

The goal is not to ensure Vox's survival on Estonia, but to DENY North Estonia to GS. If GS thinks the whole world is behind Vox both diplomatically and militarily, they will back off, it would be suicide not to.

              Think about that...

We might have to admit that we won't be able to acheive that goal. The war is in GS' hands now, and there is not too much acceptable they will accept peace for. It think it's time we realize this.

Note the threads too. The whole world HAS come out diplomatically speaking, in support of Vox. That hasn't changed GS mind one bit. They are dead set on the elimination of Vox, and from what I can understand, Vox brought it upon themselves. I don't think we should waste our time with token gestures to them. Once GS is done with Vox, I imagine they will want to lick their wounds, but they won't sit idle for long.

We must prepare for that day. And start now. Vox is nothing more than a drain to us, and we don't need to be bogged down in the mess that is across the sea.

The only way to defeat the Egyptians would be through a very long and very costly guerilla war which slowly burns away the interior of their lands. For everyone, this would be a nightmarish scenario, and it would demand the assistance of Legoland and Neu Demogyptica as well.
