I will be leaving this weekend to go to Las Vegas. I will be going directly after work on Friday and will not be back until Monday. I cannot play the save at all this weekend.
OliverFA is in charge of things while I'm away ... however, he appears to be somewhat absent.
If OliverFA does not post that he is present before I leave, I'll appoint someone else on the team to serve as our temporary leader and save-player. (p.s. Post here if you're interested)

I will be around this weekend it seems, so may ET.
A note to our team: Do not tell anyone that GoW has given us their map!
It was a mistake, I believe, by Panzer32, he played the turn for GF while he's away. He was supposed to send it to us so we could offer something for it, but he sent it accepted along with our ealier proposal of our WM. So, GoW got our map too. But MZ and likely the rest of GoW don't know this. Let's keep this on the down low for a while.
I will be posting a very large map of the World soon. I will edit in a link for it here soon.
Here's the link to the Map Room:

Here's a direct link to the picture, in case you dont want to view it in the forum. I recomend you download it and vies it on you computer.

Pamplona:
Still at size 4, building Temple... there it is
No changes this turn, I say... NO CHANGES!!!
"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln

I say, Ruby Maser, old man...I get a strange kick out of the news from Pamplona.
Toledo is due to expand to size 4 in 2 turns. What a glorious thing that'll be. I've got the festival all arranged and all. You're all invited, of course. Yeah.
Barracks in 9 turns. When my son Colonel Calamari finishes work on the barracks, I suppose he can begin the recruitment of troops for the Marshal Dejon. By then, I am assured, we shall have Feudalism and shall be able to begin cranking out veteran Medieval Infantry. We've already got Bubs the Blacksmith pounding away like mad. Hope you're happy, Marshal!

We must earmark 80 Gold for OEP upgrades (2 Med Inf, 2 Pikemen). Additionally, I will want to upgrade the Cutting Edge swordsmen shortly - another 120 gold.
We need more spearmen! Needs: additional mountain watchers; a replacement Madrid garrison; defenders for the Cutting Edge stack.
That is all for now. Expect more rantings from your Marshall in the coming days.Last edited by Hot Mustard; May 25, 2003, 16:57.

I am here. A bit unactive at the forums, but still read them every day and ready for any event.
As the capable team of Spanish wise nobles is controlling the kingdom in a very wise way we will just continue the previous plans and take care that they will be followed as much as it is posible until the king is back.
Weekend availability:
I will be all the weekend working, so you can reach me at almost any time except sleeping time (roughly 22:00/06:00 GMT). I cannot use mirc at week days, but for Saturday and Sunday thing are a bit different I think I will be able to enter
I don't think the game reach us before 06:00 GMT Saturday time, but if it does, it would be better that Dejon played it. Provided that he is available, of course!Last edited by OliverFA; May 23, 2003, 14:12."Never trust a man who puts your profit before his own profit." - Grand Nagus Zek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, episode 11

If we get the save on Friday, Dejon shall play it.
OliverFA is responsible for playing the save Saturday and Sunday.
Both of you, please email the save to any team members who ask for it, and please meet in chat to do the save in case any emergencies need to be dealt with.
Also (I may be crazy for doing this...) I will have my cell phone with me this weekend while in Vegas. My Cell phone # 559-709-1702.
It's long distance for most of you. Only use it in an emergency.

Togas, that was a terrible mistake to make.
Imagine it.
(ding-a-ling)
"Yes?"
"Hey! Togas, old chap, how ya doing? Blowin' your money in the slots?"
"Who is this?"
"Oh, just the Duke."
"What?"
"How ya doin'? Getting all lemons? Snakeyes?"
"Ummm..."
"Hey! Check out the..."
(bzzz)
(ding-a-ling)
"WHAT?!"
"Woah, Togas! Hey! Man! Guess what, just wanted to say that I'm building a mine and...hey! What's that music I hear in the background? Are you dancing or something? Oooh-la-la!"
(bzzz)
It's going to be a nightmare, Togas.Empire growing,
