Blah blah blah Spamish becomes a member of the monestary through the amazing power of not feeling like creating a new character. (Is that ok? )

I would like to see a peaceful church...bloody movements never end good, even if said to be in the name of God, for their goals and actions are twisted by the corrupted word of Man...only God can make bloody movements. (Not that way, you sicko!) However, if we believe in our God strongly enough to formulate words that can draw heathens over to our Glorious Church, then let it be so, and let us do it freely.

Welcome padre Daniel de la Civ.

Do you like to become abbot of this abbey? I'm still looking for someone suitable for the task.

Ummmm...Friar Spamish...what's your point? Are you just saying no crusades? You still want missions, right? Well, we're having them...

Dammit, why did you have to summarize my point!? I thought it was a good idea.

Yeah, no crusades. (but historically it wouldn't be right... )

Oh come on. We have paladins and all. Just give us a crusade or two for a laugh...

Well, now that you mention it, I suppose crusades are a bit, well, unChristian. So, instead of the Pope launching one, perhaps the Pope should bless a war as a Holy War. That is, if King Togas were to go off and rid the world of the Neu Demogyptians, the Pope could give his blessing upon it as a good and just war.

You will see it, dear old Friar, .... after the Holly Inquisition will have clean it from all sins and trend toward heresy that I begin to smell in this abbay.

Is there anyone who wants to become abbot of this abbey?

Why are there so few friars? Is Spain so decimated?

I think we should inquire what religions rule in the other nations of this world. Recently, the heretic GodKing alleged that our own religion developed out of that of the Voxians. I do not believe this myself, but it does highlight the possibility that the other nations are not all infidels and might worship an alternate form of God or have otehr righteous practices. This is important to know, for we would not want to have a Crusade against a nation that already is almost Christian.

AFAIK, the other nations of this world are either as you describe (almost Christian), or are ungodly heathens who do not worship any being but that of human greed. These are the nations that we must crusade on, if we are to--though it will still be a very difficult leap from "almost Christian" to "Christian", the "almost" nations could make it by conversion and missionaries.

The Voxians, Persians as they are known, worship the two gods of Zoroaster, and especially the good one, whom they call the Voice. However, Senor Nuclearis Winterius is setting up missions in Persia as we speak, and converting the heathen natives.
