    Greetings my King

I am not so long winded as my father, so I will be brief as to not waste any of your valuable time. I know the situation in Madrid is getting worse. I can only hope that my efforts to move the orphanages there to Pamplona will have been in time to stop the spead of the horrible Plague.

    Now, to you questions, Sire.

    1) What is your finest quality?

It would have to be my genuine compassion for the people of Spain. From the unkempt street urchin, to the children left homeless due to poor parenting and the unfortunate women who will soon see their their husbands and sons go to battle for the glory of Spain.

    2) How would you serve the people of Spain if you were their Queen?

If the King would have it, I would continue my service to Spain in the manner that I currently do. Of couse, having such a high profile being the Queen of Spain would allow me to further the work for our people of Spain. There are many roles I could faithfully fulfill in the Kings stead. Not least among them to serve as a Diplomat of sorts with the wives of the other rulers in our world. I would offer, at my Kings request, information from such gatherings abroad could be brought to the Kings attention.

Most of all, I shall act in a manner befiting his Royal Highness and obey his every command.

    3) How many children would you have and what would their names be?

It shall be as the King wishes, my Lord. I'm sure that you would like an heir to the throne of Spain and it would be my duty to provide you with a son for that purpose at the very least. As for a name, I've always been fond of 'Maximilan.' For a girl I am partial to 'Emma.'
I would be happy with 2 children my Lord, but if the King would want more, it is my duty to provide them for you.

    With Loving Regards
    Penelope Libre

      Nuclearius,

Yes. Charles, Thomas, John, Paul, George, and Ringo are all acceptable names.

        Your Royal Highness,

The names mentioned above are boy-names from the former Roman province of Brittannica. Why swich to foeign names if the rich and higher developped culture of Spain has even nicer names than these proud names. What about Carlo, Filipo, Paulo, Juan? Or a more Roman-like name: Claudio.

And most of all, traditional names and names of Saints and heroes are the nicest names a child can be given.

Follow your heart, majesty, through your heart the Almighty God guides you and tells you what is best for you.

        Respectfully,

What has happened? Has everybody finally fallen asleep like in the tale of the princess who pricked herself at the spinning-wheel?
