  • Death of a general

Okay, I've been out shuvling snow, wrestling with a new router, etc...

I've just posted a few threads describing the demise of my character, the War Minister of Luxia...

Essentially, I'm dead now, taking the most honorable route available to me.

I will post here and there, but you need a new corporial entity for this position...

Maybe I'll be reincarnated or reborn as a soldier somewhere if the civilization survives, but my detuies here appear to be done...

Good bye cruel world all hail NDE!!!

    We're not falling to NDE.

It's so sad to see him die!

May he be revived with a new spirit and help us into our new age!

      Hi, I'm still here,
I'm sad to see you go as war minister War poet, hopefully you will stay around to see if we make it to the industrial era.
I would like to stand for election to War Minister, I feel it better suits my skills than Foreign Affairs minister.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to help much in the last week or so I was partly busy making a new Mod, but I can put more time into this now.

I'm used to wars and civ army management, I like to conquer and fight in civ to win.. its what makes civ fun, with attack and defence strategies, strategic road pillaging etc.

I think we need to have a good millitary orders system worked out, where the War minister and advisors work out what to move and where, and the Turn player moving as ordered, unless other teams units or problems pop up. We'd all get a say in movements of course.

As War minister I'd suggest our priority be to make a strong army, as we're in a weak position. We'd need spearman , some swordsmen and maybe light attack archers/horsemen when available.
I have an article to post on this and our situation.

Unfortunately, I can only hope that your requests will meet with better success. You have my full support!

          Very well.

Just make sure you understand the situation and our priorities. Right now, we're 1 city, and we're going to be 1 city until we move to Lego. Our build priorities right now are galleys and settlers.

Later, when we get to our new home, things like lots of mobile forces (Lego has said that there is horses in our new home) and a very large navy will probably be most important.

My spirit would like to remain as a loyal advisor to Admiral PJ, if this is acceptable. I will no doubt drop fruit from my ripe vine from time to time, but I will remain involved, just not as heavily as I was before.

Thanks, I feel i will be able to make more use of my skills as War Minister, though there dosen't appear to be any wars arriving soon.. but we still need defence planning and reorganisation and building of our great millitary.

I'll start a new War Ministry channel, and start looking for advisors. I'm glad you'll be joining the War Committee Warriorpoet, or Peace Committee which may be less intimidating to our enemies ( though 1 spear isn't scaring anyone).

Maybe Calc or someone would like to be foreign minister, it will be a more important post at this stage probably.

Calc would be great, since our foreign ministry right now is composed primarily of Trip, BFM, and Calc...they are the ones performing most if not all of the IM/PM conversations...Of these people only Calc has no position right now, and he seems well-versed in the diplomatic issues, I'd recommend status perfect as his advisor too, but that's his business should he become the foreign minister.

I look forward to the creation of a defense ministry.
