  • Overseas Relocation Plan (Feb 27th) (discussion)

whether GF is completely trying to play us or not, for now act as merger offer is acceptable and that as a "member of NDE", best move is to keep LI alive until the middle age. Then considering that merger has happened already, they will treat us as our own cities and units. Which means we cannot be backstabbed by GoW who may destroy our coastal cities as sole purpose of making sure we died. Then proceed behind NDE's back to go on with evac plan and hopefully by the middle ages, we may have a city set up in the new continent.

If this plan goes according to plan we will get few things for free.

-We will get all ancient techs for free (if NDE is interested in getting free tech we have to reach mid age!)
-We will be guarnateed to live at least until NDE reaches mid age.
-We may be able to proceed with evac plan succesfully.

NDE has refused to support us in any way. This means we'll have to work this out with GoW alone.

This is the plan as of now:

We will Trade Felix to GoW for a city they make on their western coast (maybe with some detours along the way to make sure that NDE doesn't interfere). We will then build a galley or two with it, send it over to Lego to find them and trade them maps (to find a good place to settle).

Meanwhile in Luxia, we finish a settler in Invictus, and send him with a warrior and worker through GoW (after getting a RoP), and send them over to the new continent. After finishing a galley or two, we build a settler in the GoW city for a total of 2 settlers, and set off for the new continent. This plan has the full support of GoW, and is the mission of destruction for NDE. May fate smile on us.

Are we still techically at war with GoW or not? As far as holding Invictus, if NDE attacks it with for swords it wont hold without us being very lucky.

We are technically still at war with GoW. It was designed to help hold Felix so that NDE doesn't get suspicious. A couple other reasons too, but we might be making peace this turn to help stop NDE from taking Felix, since they have units moving on it.

Now that we have the settler out, it's not important that we hold Invictus anymore.

No chance of a peaceful settlement that leaves us with the penninsula?

So...our ministry of war should become a ministry of defense full of coastal cutters and a rotating pool of civil defense volunteers and a significant police force...
