  • CEGE (4th City)

Our 3rd Settler is on its way. We have the opportunity to build another one immediately. I propose this site as the location for that city:

It has Wheat and Game right nextdoor, is on a river tile, in a forest for protection, and already connected to the capital via a road.

      I like it.

How long until we can get a settler in there? (And when will Invictus finally get a defender? )

Looks a little close to Invictus to me. Then again, I almost always try to have my city radii not overlap.

I would be more inclined to put one more city to block NDE expansion into the Military Border.

Such a city would have no growth beyond size 2...

On second thought, perhaps we should be more interested in locking up our borders in the west. See the other threads for this discussion, but I'd rather keep NDE out of the hills...

For now, I'd prefer to have a good city for producing offensive units. After that a port city to start gearing up for exploration and colonization. With our border with GoW secured, after the war the border with NDE will be very flexible, so we shouldn't worry as much about that. The iron still isn't very important to us, though, IMO.

Now you confuse me, Trip. You're saying two things in this thread that are quite the opposite of each other!
