I Pedriada am writing this history of the great Lux Invicta civilisation, from its glorious birth to its possibly unfortunate death.
It might help to do some roleplaying, and keep track of our civ's history, anyone can add bits as theres too much for me to do.
Basically its a first person account of our civ's experiences throughout its life, talking about moves and maybe specific stragegies we might decide upon.
I do this kind of thing for my own single player games, just rough notes on important events to help me plan my gameplay. (like when i've destroyed some cities, or found new info etc)
4000 bc
1) Ancient Era : a) Age of Expansion
Trip had bashed his way to the top to become Chief Emperor of the Lux Invicti tribe, clobbering all those beneath him with his trusty club named Haemuni.
PJ was staggering around after drinking one too may berry wine alcoholic drinks.
' Damn I hate this hill, my legs are killing me , and the airs too thin up here, lets go for a holiday somewhere warmer. ' Said Trip.
They had come to a hilltop, and claimed it as their territory, but now there were many Luxians, and they needed to settle down so they could better explore this new technology of Bronze metal smelting they had recently mastered.
Furry stated ' As we know, the known maps of the area show plains and rivers around us, we could do with a good water supply, if not just to sober up PJ'
Trip said ' Ok, Everyone get their spears , we're going exploring, any complaints and they get this spear where the sun dosen't shine. '
The Band of settlers moved off the hill, and prepared to make a base town, which would be the centre of their great civilisation.
Workers headed the other way, uncovering more fertile grassland, lead by BFM, who was scared to explore such strange new lands.
Time passed..
3950b.c.
On the flat ground near the river the Capital Invicta was built, people began to build huts and enjoyed their new way of life. Workers began harvesting food from the new lands, creating rough fields of millet and corn.
Work was finished on the Emperors Palace, just a small stone hut with a big rock for a throne.
Life seemed good in the newly named lands of Luxia.
The wisemen started researching Iron Working, first they had to find the materials scattered in the hills that would make a better bronze than bronze.. some other shiny mysterious substance.
Time passed..
