This is just a fun thread about what I hope Lux becomes in the future.
I think the close proximity to the other civs means that we won't be the biggest civ around. However, we do have a bit of room to work with, so we'll be a adequately-sized civ.
We will eventually go to war with ND with GoW, and we will each take our shares of their land. The vision of 'Greater Luxia' will be realized at that point.
Our contact with so many other civs and our ability to work with them and trade with them will make us very strong diplomatically. We will be friendly towards all, and aloof from foreign problems that do not affect us. We may witness a war between GoW and Roleplay, or perhaps Vox and GS.
Our lack of land here will mean that we need to look elsewhere for expansion. Using our massive overseas exploration program (), we will form a good amount of colonies in other lands, placing our Forbidden Palace on another continent, making us a world-spanning empire.
Our lack of land and brute force will mean that having the biggest army won't be the way we can operate. We will have a fairly small, but veteran and above army that will be able to defeat a greater number of opponents, should we find ourself in a conflict with a larger neighbor.
Eventually, we will become a naval power, needing to defend our overseas holdings. In the end, we may engage in an alliance war to vastly expand the size of our empire, and claim the #1 spot in the world. Victory will end up being ours.
