  • Lux Invicta Orders Thread

This thread is dedicated to assembling the orders for the near future for each department, both to make playing the game easier for me, and in case I die or something you guys will still know exactly what's going on and what to do.

The structure of this thread will be as follows:
Short-Term Orders - Orders for the next turn or two. Mainly, "Do this and do that".
Long-Term Orders - Orders given in a more general sense, such as "Try to expand into the area to the north" or "Build up a strong offensive force and position it here".
Short-term orders won't always be necassary, but are helpful. However, long-term orders for each ministry are rather important.
Some ministries may have more than one department to take care of (for example, Interior will have build orders and CEGE orders).

So here's the stuff that's important:

    Orders:

Ministry of the Interior and Furry Things:

    Pre-building a galley, then a settler.

    Ministry of the Military:

    No military.

    Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Plenty of stuff... Check out the threads:

    Ministry of War:

Short term: TRAINING!!! We've got three warriors and one spearman! We'll be doing moch war drills in the western hills. Warrior 1 and 2 will be NDE feaux divisions, while Warrior 3 will be HQ, and Spearman 1 will defend Regio Equorium from the NDE brutes.

Long term: More training!!! I hope to get a barracks built in Regio Equorium ASAP! Also, I need some good production cities for more cities and more military production! As my esteemed ancestor in Civ II once said: "Give me more soldiers, Sire, to destroy your enemies!"

Maybe we need to get some culture buildings in Regio Equorum, or improve the garrison , stop the nearby temple of NDE's culture flipping us.. it won't flip for a while but its a danger.

Ideally we can capture that city in the NDE war, but we must make sure our city doesn't flip.

We need to put research up I think, its been at 0% for too long, and some of the trade plan may well fail, there seems to be some evidence of this.
I'd suggest researching something other than maths, just in case noone trades with us .

I think we can put enough units in it for it to survive. Regio will be our forward base where we station most of our units.

You're right though, this is something to be concerned with... NDE no doubt has more culture than us, and we have to be aware of that.

        Any updates from our ministers?

        I've updated some things.
