The Constitution was a set of rules that was made powerless by the mutual disobedience of one of its most important premises. There was no clause in the document which allowed for 'picking and choosing' which sections were to be obeyed and which could be ignored. Therefore, by default the entire document is, for all intents and purposes, null and void.

    Wooo hoooooooooo!!! Anarchy!!!

Without democracy there is no need for a democracy game. I'll be lurking until you have a working democracy again. Why should i vote or make any input when you clearly don't care. See you later.

Come now. If we go by the game like this, no one wins. Well, at least no one in our team, anyway.

We 'democratically' decided not to hold elections, and thus to overrule the constitution on that point.

This does not make the entire constitution invalid, though.

The vote of 2-1-1-...-1-0-...-0 is indeed a vote in which one option received the most votes, yes, but I hope everyone can feel that this cannot truely represent the majority of the nation.

I say we hold a runoff poll between Ceribus and the current name, Regio Equorum. We might even try to combine the two names: Regio Equorum Ceriborum ("Region of the Ceribus Horses", whatever that may imply).

Of course, you may differ and want another name, but if we go by the entire process of eliminating every option with the least votes every time, we'll have a very long poll.

If you =really= do not agree with this plan, please post here. Otherwise, I'll set up a runoff poll soon.

I apologize for the fact that I created the poll just hours before the founding of the city.

I like the idea I heard somewhere of renaming the city every turn to confuse our opponents...

Yep - that was my idea. Especially when Civs are working from maps they got out-of-the-game, it will be harder for them. I'll put up a poll :-)
