    Greetings Trip!

This is Dominae from Gathering Storm. I recently sent the message below to Admiral PJ, your team's Foreign Affairs Minister. I'm simply forwarding it to you as well in case he is away or does not check his PMs on a regular basis. Please let us know your position soon.

    Best of luck!

    ---

    Hail friend Admiral PJ!

I am embarrassed not to have had the pleasure of speaking to you in person before now. I bring tidings from Gathering Storm. We are both certainly busy people, but I hope to communicate with you more often in the future. The benefits to our teams is beyond doubt.

On to the matter at hand:

By now, you've certainly had time enough to orient yourself in this strange and virgin world. I think you'll agree that it is full of opportunity, yet also rife with potential danger. Your recent efforts, like ours, have surely been in attempt to "civilize" this planet. One mark of a civilized people is the basic understanding of geography. Alas, most of this world is still shrouded in darkness. But word of your empire has reached our ears from afar! We long to know more about you. Where on this planet do you call "home"?

I'm sure you've already anticipated my proposal, but let me lay it out: would Lux Invicta be interested in trading minimaps with Gathering Storm? These "minimaps" would be from the very beginning of time itself, around 4000BC.

I cannot understate how beneficial this would be for both our peoples. Among many other things, it would bring us closer to more advanced forms of trading, and forewarn contact with other potential friends or enemies. Above all, it would satisfy the curiosity that is eating away at us all (I'm sad to report firsthand that curiosity does not only kill cats...).

Whether or not Lux Invicta is interested in such a trade, please contact me by PM as soon as possible. I look forward to your response.

I think trading it to them wouldn't be a bad idea. They're probably on the other continent, and anything we can find out about the other continent would be good.

Is their anyway to get them to describe their position better before we agree to a trade? Perhaps they are on the same continent but to the North of us? I would like a little more information to make sure we aren't handing them a means of cutting off any of our expansion plans.

Perhaps a simple question, asking whether they have made in-game contact with Vox would suffice? We know Vox is on another continent.

We are at the northern most part of our continent. Our minimap location is too high up for another civ to be on top of us, but then again maybe not.

I think we should edit out the connection to the Vox continent before we give them any maps.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about this... an issue brought up elsewhere, how would this help us? We currently have contact with 4 other civs (that's 5 total that we know of), meaning that they most they could have contact with that we don't know of would be Legoland, meaning however you slice it we get the short end of the deal. For now, I'm going to tell them that we don't want to in the most polite way possible.
