  • The rapidly changing situation..

Now that we know GoW, NDE and roleplay are all in fairly close proximity (we dont know exactly where Roleplay team is yet, but that warrior didnt go too far). I can't see the area remaining at peace for too long. That being said we need to put more attention to defining our S and W borders ASAP (yes that wheat looks nice but keeping a buffer between both civs and our cap is more important IMHO, we can fill in the NE area later, no one else is going to make a city over there. I suggest city 3 due west and 4th city NW...then all the NE area. The S and W cities should ideally have 2 defensive units, walls, an attacking unit and an early temple to expand our borders. This can be tweaked as the situation changes. We will need a plan as to what get built when.

Possible build plan for city 2:

    1. Spear->worker->walls->temple->spear (city now has 2 spears and a warrior (which hopefully can be upgraded to sword if iron is close by)

This is of course if no war breaks out beforehand...

Sounds great. We also aim for natural looking borders and don't build cities between civs two civs. Agressive REX but without intimidating our rivals.

Defense of our western border is paramount. I suggest changing where our 3rd city is placed, in light of the new discoveries.

I'll open a new thread outlining my proposal...
