      I'm here still,
things seemed to go a little quiet there, but it looks like this will make us have more discussions now.

I'd put forward myself for Ambassador to GoW
unless someone else has that role.

I doubt they have our city ontheir maps, but we need to reply to their requests for minimap excanges etc soon,
we need to tell them before tuesday I think what our thoughts are, because Panzer has been pushing for a map exchange and other deals.

We need to try and be friendly to GoW, but not give them anything for nothing.. though they don't seem interested in trades yet.

We now have two neighbors [and potential enemies] to worry about. We wouldn't really gain much by trading mini-maps with GoW right now, so try to give them the impression that we'd rather explore and let things play out that way.

Hah, so I wasnt just blabbering like an idiot after all... there WAS a 3rd civ. I was hoping it would be vox, but since GoW is mil/ind, that reduces NDE chance of bronze coming up for them. I cant beleive they can research it that fast but who knows...
          :-p

They are expansionist. They might have gotten it from a goody hut.

              I'm back from my vacation

First:We need to develop some form of a friendly relationship with GoW ASAP. we cannot afford to have two neighbors who could possibly ally against us. Still, we can't be giving away anything for nothing. Also, we just have to hope NDE hasn't cut a deal with GoW already. If they did we could be in a lot of trouble. If they do appear to act hostile toward us like NDE, we have no choice to explore to their south and west either with a warrior or by making a coastal city and building a galley. The only way we can survive if they do decide to ally is for us to communicate with other civs bordering them, the sooner the better.

Second: Decisions have to be made regarding our expansion. Do we REX toward both civs aggresively, or just enough to protect our capital from any possibly direct attack? I saw REX enough to create a buffer from our capital. I am worried that additional REXing will just give them a reason to ally against us.

Third: One good this for us is that all those mountains will make it tougher for NDE to defend themselves for the simple reason that in order to adequately defend all necessary mountain tiles to stop us from getting a secure launching point, they would either hurt their economy or have to built less attacking units.

By the way, a strongly suspect that GoW city may be from a goody hut, since its borders are not expanded, it cannot be their capital, which make me wonder how far is it from their capital.

Why can't it be their capital?

IMHO, the GoW city is probably their capital.

There's a hill tile just outside their borders, 2 turns from the current position of that warrior, so we can determine which it is. If we can see the city, it's a new city. If not, it's their capital.

yea ok. mansonry, warrior code a settler = 3 goody hut. We found two in the area so there was five total. Yup thats a real possibility there. I always find 5 goody huts as soon as i start my game

Roleplay team also asked us to message them as to wether we wanted to trade mini maps etc, but I need to check out what they really want first, they don't seem to know themselves.

That coast land to the east seems to open out to make a large continent, lets continue exploring down there.

Can we havethe save file soon? maybe onthe private website.
