I received this from Glory of War, what shall i reply?
Only a fool would swap maps with them!

    Trade Minimaps with Lux Invicta?
The Glory of War is interested in a trade of in game mini-maps with Lux Invicta, so we could see where we are located in relation to each other. This would help our team's trading potential. It would also not give away valuable terrain info. If your team is interested, please PM me a reply. Thank you,

Shall I send them a fake minimap? that might be quite funny. Or even better put ND on the minimap, though they are close to us.
I think its worth thinking about, and maybe GoW will fall for it and give us their MM.

INCOMING MESSAGE FROM VOX CONTROLLI via BETAHOUND PRIVATE MESSAGE on Sunday-
They seem to want to build a concentrated small civ, going for republic possibly, maybe communist later? (all this 1 voice thing sounds a little like communism)
They sound very peaceful, so may be a useful friend, especially with their Immortals they could be useful millitarily.

      Greetings from VoxControli
Dear Admiral PJ, esteemed representative of the fine people of Lux Invicta.

I, BetaHound, have been chosen to speak to you on behalf of the Controller and the citizens of Vox Controli. In this correspondence, I am not only introducing myself, but more importantly, the nation of the One Voice - Vox Controli.

As a form of introduction, and to allow you a better insight into our civilization, I have chosen to read to you today, selected readings from The One Book, and more specifically, Jon's letter to the Controllians.

      "Controllians 6, Verses 1 to 5.

      1. In the beginning, there were many voices. And it was chaos. And it was not good.

      2. And 'The Voice' called to jon miller, and he went onto the great mountain, the One Peak. And there 'The Voice' spoke to jon.

      3. He spent 18 days and 15 nights on the One Peak (ed Scholars are still debating to this day what jon did for the other 3 nights) and returned with the law of our people on one stone, drawn up as the One Commandment:

      4. Thou shalt speak with One Voice.

      5. And then there was one controller, chosen by the people, and there was One Voice, and One Voice only. And there was order. And it was good."

      Thus ends the readings.

This should help to clarify who we are. We are not a fascist state. We are not a dictatorship. We are a small, but well ordered civilization. We are democratic. But we acknowledge, and accept as our law, the need to speak with One Voice.

We look forward to cordial and productive relations with you, your leaders, and your people. We approach you in friendship, but stand ready to defend our rights, our citizens, and our land.

We speak forthrightly, and expect the same of you. We have long memories.

I know we share the same goal of improving our respective and cherished homelands. Together, we can achieve more. I look forward to further discussions with you.

So, once again, our salutations to you, our honored guest, and to your nation.

Till next we meet, I remain, sincerely yours,

      BetaHound

        INCOMING MESSAGE:
From jdjdjd, thankfully no mention of their disgustingly rubber tasting squids.
Their UU conquistador could be a real pain in the arse, but comes very late(need navigation), and our sipahi should be around near then.
They may be useful as trading partners, their commerce attribute gives them more money.

        Lux Invicta - Roleplay
        Dear Admiral,

I decided to just drop you a PM in order to keep the lines of communication between our two great nations opened. Often, when we run into each other in the chat, there are people in the room from other teams, and I do not feel comfortable discussing in too great detail anything game related, as you may also. So I felt, via PM, the two of us could feel confident that information we discuss here is for our teams eyes only. I am also always willing to discuss things you wish to keep between you and I, should there be any. Of course, non-game discussion is also welcome.

Obviously, we still have not met on the game map, but perhaps we can start to work out some type of mutually beneficial trade of either game information or tech/map trading that will speed negotiations once we do meet and that, of course, is within the spirit of the game. Or perhaps, there is some way for us to meet on the game map in a more expedient manner, again, only if it is within the spirit of the game.

I believe at this early stage in the game, it is beneficial to both our teams to maintain a close relationship, in hopes that this relationship can carry out throughout the game to our mutual benefit - especially should more militaristic civs go on a rampage.

I would like to maintain an open and honest line of communication with you, and am willing to listen to any ideas of a mutually beneficial trade that you may have on your mind.

I hope to hear from you soon or perhaps I will run into you in a chat later this week, and am glad I was asked to be the liason between Supreme Leader Togas of the Spanish and You and the Great People of the Invincible Light.

        Happy Holidays,

        jdjdjd of the Roleplay Team

no way. GoW is one of the civ I suspect that has contact with NDE. If we fake them we'll get burned BIG time.

We ought to consider trying to weaken GoW in the near future, our enemies can use them as mercenaries to destroy us on 2 fronts, and their warlike system seems like an evil we must eliminate.

But war can be fun, if your a General smoking a nice Cuban cigar safe in a bunker

We should ignore GoW more than we should with NDE. They'll cause us nothing but trouble in the future.

Try to get good relations with everyone, of course. And I must reiterate, do not commit us to any agreements without consulting the entire team first. At this point, we don't want to get involved in another team's business... we have enough of our own things to worry about right now.

To (blank), thank you for your gracious message of open hands and shared minds.(Insert the rest)

NDE: We're sorry that our current attempts at a peaceful resolution and assurance of future peace and prosperity between our people seems so distasteful. We merely seek a mutual respect for each other's sovereignty and a mutual exchange of commerce and ideas. If you wish to extend an open hand to us in the future, our humble officials will welcome you and discuss our positive futures.

GOW: We are pleased with your intentions, however, we cannot divulge our map information at this point. We are otherwise involved with other civilizations who may turn this information against us, should it fall into their hands. However, we are open to positive communications and commerce between our people. Perhaps we would be welcome to share our general world location to you. This will also allow us to find eachother, without unnecessarily compromising each other's security in these ancient and unsure times.

VOX: We are happy to hear from you. Indeed, our civilizations should begin our relationship in hopes of mutual respect, peace, and security. We are open to future communications and commerce, and will keep our communications in the strictest of confidences.

End with: (Your name) ~The Humble ambassador of the Invicti.
