Huh? Isn't being listed enough to have joined? Why are they in the list in the 1st place?

You can add yourself to that list for any team... I could add myself to every team if I wanted, and I would show up on their list like that. The only difference between adding and being approved is that your name isn't tallied in the total count at the top of the page, and you can't go into the forum. Weird huh.
