  • How are we going to communicate today (and afterwords)?

Whats the best way for us to communicate with each other in a timely manner about starting position, etc. since the game is starting today. We need some form of a private turnchat set up.

I think it would be good if everyone who sees this post posts and says how long they expect to be on for. Edit: Now that I'm in the chatroom, I think it might also be a good idea for anyone who reads this post to go to the Apolyton chatroom.
I expect to be on all day/as long as it takes, though if things really aren't happening I'll probably only be here once every half hour or so.
Any IM should be fine. Perhaps it would be easiest to use whichever one people tend to already have. I've got AIM, IRC, ICQ and Yahoo accounts, unless those places tend to delete unused accounts after a while...

I set up a YahooGroups mailing list. I would suggest to use that one to communicatie fast.

Email is best for me. I work a full time job behind Nazi firewalls and can't use chat unfortunately. However, I can get to the forums, and given the necessary attachments and image files, I will be very decisive.

Email is the best way. BFM should be handed communications for immediate decemination to team members. Give all one day to respond if critical, then have the result deceminated to all, and allow the responsible parties to respond.

I'm not quite clear on the mail group. Do we have to add our email to it somehow or is it already done? Also, if we email that address does it go to everyone in the team or just 1 guy?

I think email will probably be the fastest way to contact me, most of the time. That is, unless you have a messenger of some sort (I'll fill in the details for those who don't know my information... MSN Messenger was how BFM and I hammered out the deal regarding the starting position).
