City Names?

How should we decide upon/pick city names (especially capital)?

The administrator should be given the power to name cities. Of course taking the input of the citizens into account. It would be plain stupid to build up a new beraucracy around something as trivial as city naming.

Capitol - Something to do with "Invincible"

First 12 cities - Named after members in mind, honoring each of us as gods.

Current Prez gets extra city named after him which the forbidden Palace will be anmed after? (If you dont like changing name constantly forget it)

We'll worry about the rest after the 12 cities.

I each name should have a history too. It would be cool if our first city was named "Dawn" cause that's what it is.

BTW i think all name should be serious... no cities named "****city007" or "Purple Cow Town"

MWIA suggested Apolytonian city names to be named after NGE angels. We could do that for LI too

I think it would be better if our names were understood by the other teams too. We name the cities for their as much as our sake.

I already mentioned (and hopefully was passed with out disagreement) that the Armies will be named after EVAs. Maybe we can do the angels as well for armies? But I dont think we'll have that many armies.

I say everyone gets a turn at naming cities, starting with a democratic vote for the capitol. Then after that each person gets to name a city and then once everyone has named one we go through the list again. The order can simply be something to do with the government or with just the members list in civ groups.

Also, I think that who's ever turn it is to name a city can choose what they want, as long as it's not offensive, and not like what statusperfect is talking about. Anyone should be able to challenge a city name as long as they have a good reason. (e.g. offensive in some way, just plain stupid).

I think it's okay with offensive names as long as they're not stupid. Being stupid IS offensive.

I honestly don't know if we'd want to name them after any Eva except for units 01 and 08. All the other units could be rather bad considering what happened to them.
