I've noticed several of the recent polls only last a couple days...some of us are busy people, and we can also get distracted on other forums, etc...
Is there any way that the team members could receive an email when a thread on this forum requires their attention???
Also, I would like to ask that the polls be open for a week, to give enough time for a true democratic process. The recent polls don't have more than 50% of the team voting on them. This is due to the following reasons:
1) No notification
2) We are busy people and prone to temporary changes in our priorities, but this in no way means we are uninterested, nor does it mean that we are not a valuable asset in this "team."
3) The polls close too rapidly to capture enough votes to give them validity.
4) Inadequate communications processes.
Note: I am not nominating myself for the position of communications manager for the team. I would also not accept such a position, however, this is an issue that needs to be dealt with.
