Early Elections

Seeing as how we skipped last months elections in favor of a less "official" method, and as we now have a sudden shift within the ministerial offices, I suggest we hold early elections sometime in the next few days to get our governmental offices back in order, as it were. Would everyone be agreeable to that plan?

So far, what are the nominations? From what I have gathered they are:

President: Vondrack

Enlightened: Tiberius

Mil. Archtect: ZargonX, Sharpe

Master Builder: lmtoops, Kloreep

Foreign Minister: Nimitz (EDIT by vondrack)

I think that is it. Feel free to edit my post to correct or add names.

Also, it would be fun to have more than one candidate for a few of the positions. Feel free to throw your name in the hat and challenge for a position.

I'm starting to think an announcement would of been nice so everyone would of known.

This is the announcement, which I put up this morning. With the vacancy of the Enlightened, and the subsequent vacancy of the MA, it just seemed to make sense that we should hold elections soon. This is still the nomination stage, so if you want to run for something, just make an announcement!

I get confused with the FM. Some discussion get started informally through chat rooms, and members who know each other. I was guessing at the FM, so is it Nimitz....then edit the post.

Actually I would be interesting in running for something this time, but I am really not sure what ministerial post to run for yet... with all of these workers, perhaps it is time to create that Labour Minister post out of the Master Builder post.

Maybe. Though it's much easier to coordinate building plans with workers if only only one person is ordering them...

Wednesday for elections sound OK. How long is it supposed to last? 3 days?

Yes, elections would be open for three days, under the const. If no one objects, I'll open the polls at 12:00 AM GMT Wed.
