Can't argue with getting more settlers, production gold and science that 's for sure.

Hmm, too bad that it is too late to switch the merc to granary now - might have been worth it as we would have been nearly halfway to the granary already.

Actually running a sim with all of our cities (for the above table I needed only a "light" sim, with Legopolis only) I was having problems placing so many cities (4 settlers from Legopolis, one from Jackson, 3 from Farmerville, one from Forkmouth), because the closest spots are not very appealing while the distant ones are very corrupted.

      The conclusion would be that:
      a) we need a lot of workers to clear the jungles, build roads and improve the other tiles
      b) we need to get out of Despotism ASAP.

After Map Making I would go for Literature (building the GL is somehow an "obligation" for us, builders) and after that straight for a government tech. Wich one? Hm, tough decision: Monarchy would be closer and would give us the possibility of some good trades with warlike civs and also the possibilty to build 2 wonders while the Republic is better but far away on the tech ladder.

Hmm, perhaps we can concentrate on more workers replacing some wonders, but we have to occupy the key positions on the continents regardless of corruption in order to make sure that our opponents don't land and take them for themselves, especially our eastern opponents.

Don't forget that once we have 8 cities we will have the opportunity to build the Forbidden City wonder. While that will take a while to build, that should help with the corruption problem. Also we can research Code of Laws for the opportunity to build the courthouses, which are admittedly expensive.

Thanks for the sim. I definitely vote for a granary now.
