Other than that, I think the turn plan is ok.

OK, no problem, will play the turn.
I plan to play the turn in about 3-4 hours. I have uploaded it to here, so if anyone wants to have a look, enjoy (and there IS a lot to enjoy! make sure you closely inspect Stormia, looking for saltpeter). One of our saltpeter sources is conveniently located precisely where Castlea is planned, so I do not think we need to adjust our plans for this turn at all. Just send our next settler out of F'ville to Castlea - the road from Jackson should be ready by that time.Last edited by vondrack; September 21, 2003, 06:49.

I've just downloaded the first one. The 2nd is still not working. Maybe it's the good old attachment bug"The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

I have just posted the chronicle entry, but I will do the pictures before forwarding the save on. Have a look at the moves and let me know, if you find anything subpar.
BTW, the savegame link from the chronicle should also work.

Oh, I posted in the Next turn thread my observations. Btw, I can't see any new Chronicle entry."The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

The only difference against your suggestions would be Logger going for the horse hill instead of a regular hill. I admit it would probably be better (one more commerce) - I had the defense road system in mind when moving him to the inland hill, not fully considering the almost non-existent threat of an invasion there... but I am not going to correct this move. It is a minor thing and I could easily screw something else...

It was not the only change. I'd have preferred a one turn only 60% research, which would have given us MT in 7, instead of 8 (considering that the Library in Panama will help in the rest of the turns). But this is no big deal, we can do this any other turn. Maybe it won't be necessarry at all, with some of the cities growing in the next turn."The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

Btw, I thought that we had agreed to hold the turn for a while - with all due respect to our European contingent - playing the turn at 10 am Eastern didn't give us in North America very much time at all to look at it before sending it on.
The other teams are taking a long time with their turns, so there was no need to only take 11 hours for our turn (twice as fast as most have been recently).
So next time, when we ask to hold the turn , hold it for at least 18 hours so that we all get a chance to look at it and make comments on it.
