As long as we're free to attack Roleplay in a few turns everything's okay with me. I wish I could see the look on their faces the turn it happens.

BTW, the whole WM thing was that they received an offer for our world map! I don't know what that was about....
I frequently send stuff we have available for trade to other civs without clicking accept to see if they have any interest in negotiating for it.

Do they want our Map? What are they willing to offer for it?

The want us to give them the map so they can reach GS suppossedly to help out in the campaign. I of course don't plan on giving them anything without something concrete in exchange.

How many turns has it been since we acquired Feudalism? It has to have been at least 2-4.

            ? Maybe ...
We want 100 gold which they will get back when we see their units land on the battlefield

I fear the war is not going well...GS is getting stronger each day. Lets try to RP involved. And now that they think that they are safe from an ND attack because of our MPP....maybe they will help.

GS is indeed strong, they have some of the best strategist. However, we have most of the rest of the best. What they have that us/vox and perhaps rp have is a coordinated plan. Toward that end I propose that we have a detailed council of war with our allies and plan the next phase. Also I am not sure if this next part is possible, but I suggest that we create a scenario with the estimated units of Gs and us and vox. Then try to see what GS will do and what our best method of attack is. This obviously can not be precise but it will give us a chance to see holes we can exploit. In a normal civ game this isn't possible, but with the delays of between turns we should be able to see what will and will not work. Perhaps one player can be gs another vox and another us. Then we can change so we see different possibilities.

While I agree with you as far as this is exactly what we SHOULD do IF WE WANT TO WIN THAT WAR. However, I thought our major goal in this endeavor was to weaken both GS and Vox. Even as strong as GS is, they are going to get weakened to some degree in the fighting, though probably not as much as I would have hoped. Vox waited far too long to utilize their Immortals to their fullest effect. Even 20 turns earlier would have given them a far better chance, preferably about 30 turns earlier, long before pikes...but, oh well.

We can still hold the chat, hope to get RP involved, this would at least get some RP units off our island and away from their cities, but I am not willing to commit any more units than we have already (the original 6) until the RP war is well under way and in our favor. If GS wins the war outright, we can simply tell them we werer bought. They should respect that fact since we have stated all along we are mercenaries.

You raise some valid points, but I would feel far more comfortable if GS was not just weakened...but totally crushed.

My concern is that Vox will have a sudden realisation that they are not going to win, and try to bargain their way out. At this stage.. we know that they are losing units, are bringing in their "reserves", and are yet to destroy any city, and very little pillaging.

We need to make a joint war plan with Vox. Get a jpg of the units...and offer them tactics to win the war.

I assume GS has multiple Pikes fortified in cities on hills, and a few chariots making killing blows. Even immortals will have a tough time taking those cities.

We need every bit of information from the Vox front to come up with a decent battle plan. Once the first cities (even the weaker ones) start to fall, and road pilliging stops their mobility...it is only then that we will take the upper hand.

I think we need to seriously consider getting RP involved....even a couple of cheap ND scouts to pillage would help.

                  War chat ! and a co-ordinated plan !

And also...we need to consider ...
Are we going to commit everything we got to ensure GS is crushed ? Then perhaps we need to gift Vox Fuedalism ?

I'm of the idea we need chivalry before we start the RP war. The moment we get it we start moving our mighty Riders towards RP.

ND will probably do the same and as we will both get our GA at the same time we can develop a strong industrial base before we decide to finish GS once and for all.

GS won't stand a chance. They'll probably spend their $$ getting pikes and won't have enough to upgrade WC to Knights.

Yes, I agree that Chivilry should be the catalyst to kick our warmongering ways into full swing.
