During our regular ISDG chatting me and Togas set up a private chat about the PTWDG since he had some things in mind he wanted to tell me. Since this is all related to the Vox-GS plot I wish to share it with you.
First of all I am unaware of how much RP knows about this deal, I therefore assumed they do not know the facts and refrained from making a definite comment on that. Togas is a very cunning person and he's the last guy I would enter a discussion with unprepared.
Also, I am sorry that I cannot provide the whole log of the chat since even though it was a private 1 on 1 affair, it had a lot to do with the ISDG which for security reasons I cannot disclose. Anyway, here are some important bits which I would like to share:
this was Togas starting the conversation:
Everyone is getting jittery about Vox, that is no surprise. Obviously by our team's nature he assumes we are up to something.
guess he does not suspect the ND alliance... or if he suspects it, fears it as he knows it would spell their doom.
Are they up to something? Why did he even mention it.
This is the first part of the invading Lego plot, which IMO was just a ruse by Togas to start talking about Vox's other options: mainly GS.
I didn't know what to say about the donegeal deal. If so ok, but if not it could've just been a Togas move to try and get me to accep that some deal is going on. Anyway, since there really was nothing in the Roleplay thread about any conversation with donegeal, I dodged the question.
here are some thoughts on re-invading Bob
[23:31] [MasterZen] considering just one port is all needed to launch an invasion
[23:32] [Togas] GoW would have never let them stay?
[23:32] [MasterZen] would you have?
[23:33] [Togas] If I were you, with the right agreement I would.
[23:33] [MasterZen] cost-benefit that would depend on the agreement of course
[23:34] [MasterZen] cost=potential immortal army, benefit would have had to be very generous
[23:34] [Togas] I'd give them 2, maybe 3 cities max, sign a long term alliance, get some GPT perhaps, but the alliance would be the thing. Keep it quiet, then when ND got mad and went to war with them, let them fight it out with ND for a bit before I stabbed ND.
[23:35] [MasterZen] the problem with Vox IMO as I said before is that they seem to be rather unstable, and I'm not sure that would be a good sign for an alliance
[23:36] [Togas] Perhaps, but they're good fodder for an enemy to lose a few swords against
[23:36] [Togas] and a good distraction
[23:36] [MasterZen] also, ND would be suspicious if Vox settled and we didn't try and wipe them out first
[23:37] [Togas] it might be difficult to play out. I'm unclear as to who's land is what up there. Seems like ND is claiming most of old Luxia
[23:37] [Togas] GoW could have kept quiet about Vox's settlement ... ND wouldn't find out until the new cities appeared on the map
[23:38] [MasterZen] and all this time Vox leaving their backs turned to GS...
he said we gave them a map of Vox:
[23:39] [MasterZen] you have a vox map?
[23:39] [Togas] yes
[23:39] [Togas] Ghengis Farb sent it over
[23:39] [Togas] We made an agreement a month ago that if either of us got it, we'd send it to the other.
this post is getting too long...
Edit by Trip: Don't mind me, I just made it so that you could see who was saying what in the conversation...

[22:51] [Togas] we need to chat with Ghengis Farb very soon
[22:52] [Togas] The Team game is coming very close to it's first World War ... I can sense it.
[22:52] [Togas] Vox's mass upgrade ... the Legoland discovery. Some teams shooting ahead some being left behind.
[22:54] [Togas] I get the feeling GoW is going to make a move and I would much rather be involved than be left out.

[22:56] [Togas] GoW is our natural ally. All of our long term competators are your long term competators.
[23:13] [Togas] Legoland is currently negotiating with us for an MPP
[23:14] [Togas] my guys want to sign it. The main reason being that we've included a statement of our territory that goes well beyond our cultural borders.
[23:14] [Togas] my guys want to sign it. The main reason being that we've included a statement of our territory that goes well beyond our cultural borders.
[23:15] [Togas] legoland knows they have too much land, and with Vox looking to expand somewhere, Legoland must be thinking they're a target
[23:16] [MasterZen] still, they are perhaps too far away, and they are Carthage which has less to fear from immortals...
[23:16] [Togas] I don't think Vox will attack, most likely they'll settle, and Legoland will want some international backing to get rid of Vox, the "Squatters" of the PTW game
[23:17] [MasterZen] well, since they are so close to bob, I'm thinking they just might go at it again, this time with more than a few immortals
[23:17] [MasterZen] we are actually not ruling out this possiblity
[23:17] [Togas] But Vox oughta attack someone, though. It's almost Midevil Warrior time, which are equal to Immortals.
[23:17] [Togas] Vox is stupid to just sit on Immoratals

[23:22] [Togas] back to Vox -- They could be going after GS, they could reinvade Bob, or they could invade a part of the unsettled Legoland
[23:22] [MasterZen] I think they're a little scared of GS from what we've heard
[23:23] [Togas] going after GS is ideal in my mind. GS scares all of us, but they're going to be even more frightening as time goes by. We've seen just how efficient those guys are.
[23:23] [Togas] but for Vox to go after them, they're going to need some foreign backing.
[23:24] [MasterZen] major foreign backing, GS's smugness IMO revelas that they have a very large continent, at least compared to Vox
[23:24] [MasterZen] Vox's natural reaction is to seek other routes of expansion - Lego or Bob
[23:24] [Togas] Donegeal from GOW told me he was pushing for a plan where your team aids Vox in their assault.
[23:25] [Togas] It will be interesting to see if Vox feels they have a better chance fighting on Bob than fighting with GS.
[23:25] [MasterZen] their immortals can pretty much kick some but either way
[23:26] [Togas] the only way I see them coming back to Bob is if they get the backing of one of the Bob civs ... thus far they haven't asked us, and with the Treaty we all signed, I doubt you guys or ND will back them.
[23:27] [MasterZen] well you know us, not unless we get something big in return!! lol... (NOT)
[23:27] [Togas] I'd just like to know if they're going after GS or going after some unsettled Legoland...
[23:28] [MasterZen] they have been known to take risks (the initaial bob settlement) that lends proof to the idea they might go after GS
[23:28] [MasterZen] however, since that first risk failed they might choose the safer way now
[23:28] [MasterZen] considering also that a fiasco with GS would spell their doom
[23:28] [Togas] they take risks, often not very well though out risks
[23:22] [MasterZen] I think they're a little scared of GS from what we've heard
