    In the discussion of war with RP and Legoland, we need to time it properly. It becomes more with Feudalism, a civ that's dying is going to upgrade if it can. I don't see how we can attack Legoland effectively before then. RP is a different story. Even if we just wound him, and RP gets Feudalism during the war, we can let them fester while we REX

    I would also prefer a war with RP as soon as possible, but we need to sizable force to handle an effective long distance invasion.

    With border wars, fresh troops are close by. This will be a long distance war, so if we get into trouble, we wont have a backup. We need an overwhelming force to the job right the first time.

    The timing unfortunately, will probably be with riders.

      This sounds good except for one problem IMHO. We are playing against Humans, not the AI. It sounds to me that you are suggesting that we go have a quick skirmish with RP to delay their REXing then come back to finish the job later. This sound great for a SP game. If we attack RP now, then they will know that we are out to get them. Right now our job is to make RP think that we are on their side pitted against ND (and ND job is to make RP think they don't trust us). If we attack at all, then our advantage is lost.

        RP will likely do one of these things:
        1) defend a few cities with lots of troops.
        or
        2) counterattack his nearest attacker, ND.

        either way we win. The last thing they'll be expecting is limited war.

        Let's take the worst case, they counterattack us,
        that would take time we could still build a couple of cities during the delay, or at the very least build a granary or two, city improvements have an advantage over REXing when defence is a problem.

        Here are the most important priorities IMHO
        #1 Control of the Continent
        #2 Military Tradition
        #3 Chivalry
        #4 Feudalism

        We need libraries and possibly granaries to get there.

          IMHO we should fight to destroy RO when we attack. Once we attack our allianc eis out in the open. Also if we get chivarly first our GA will occur during the war. Normally this is too early a GA, but if a GA will help us destroy RP it could be worth it. Also I forget and don't have in front of me the Arab UU. I thought it was something like knight too. So that could help us too. I really hate the spanish UU too since it plays havoc on defense and lines of communication, so lets take them out before the 6 movement explorer comes to irritate the crap out of us.

              I think they are ranked in order of importance, not chronologically.

                Yes, that's IMHO the order of importance. MT + shields + diplomacy should produce a win. The Conquistidor unit is an unknown, fast units for a mobile defenseand redundant roads (so limited pilaging won't work) might be effective, but the simplest solution is eliminating RP first.
