TECH STATUS UPDATE


Okay, I may have overstepped my authority but I needed to insure Lux didn't trade Horseback Riding to Roleplay so.........

I traded Horseback Riding to Lux for Ironworking.
Lux agrees NOT to trade Horseback Riding to Roleplay.

Agreed to get Mathematics(10 turns) from ND.

Agreed to trade Mathematics to Lux for Mysticism(20 turns).
Lux does not want to trade techs with ND, but asked us not to tell anyone this.

We need to get Mathematics from ND I suggest we offer them Horseback Riding now for Mathematics on the turn they finish it.

Drafted a message:

We have to trade Horseback Riding to Lux for Ironworking as we had agreed to do so before your team expressed interest in trading techs.

We would be happy to trade you Horseback Riding now for Mathematics on the turn you finish it.

Lux is currently researching Mysticism so we need Mathematics or Writing to research a tech different from ones already being researched.

Once you have researched Mathematics both Construction and Currency will be available. If you research one, we will research the other and then trade.

Does this sound acceptable?

But have not sent it to ND.

If this is acceptable I would like Panxer32 to send this ASAP to borc and peebochu.

I don't know, I would email Borc. Peebochu is ND's ambassador to us, I may have mispelled it though.

From Trip this morning:

This is the official agreement, as outlined by the previous meeting between LI and GoW, witnessed by BigFurryMonster and Trip of Lux Invicta, and GhengisFarb of Glory of War:

Lux Invicta hereby trades Iron Working to GoW in exchange for Horseback Riding this turn (2270 BC), with the assurance that Lux Invicta will not trade Horseback Riding to the Roleplay Team until after a deal has been worked out between the two teams.

The second part of the deal is as follows: GoW will trade Mathematics (which it will acquire from Neu Demogyptica in about 10 turns) to LI when it recieves it, and LI will trade Mysticism to GoW as soon as it has it. GoW is expected to reveal knowledge of this deal to no one but ND, and only if they ask for such information.

This document under these terms have been officially agreed to by officials holding authority on both teams.

I don't see anything requiring them not to trade Horseback Riding to Roleplay.

Check our PM's & emails.
If we have not received an acceptance yet, then we can shoot off a quick offer withdrawl and submit a new one which includes the clause.

Make note of the time each email is made, so we can be sure we withdrew the offer before they accepted it.

ND needs an explanation as to why we insist they dont trade it to RP.
- Becuase RP broke an agreement -
This may cause ND to distrust RP a little more.
It may also cause RP to be pissed at ND for not giving them the tech.
