What should we use our Leader for?

It's pretty simple really:

1) Build an Army.

2) Rush SETI Program in Trafalgar

3) Rush a Small Wonder



My personal thoughts: An army would be cool but for all practical purposes, useless. GS is all but defeated and an army won't change that. Furthermore there are 5 conscript Riflemen which we can kill this turn with elite units furthering the odds of getting another leader. Last but not least, if we built a leader, it would still take at least 1 more turn (we have no extra transports from Bob->Stormia right now) thus leaving the army outside the main stack (unless we delay our advance by one turn).

If we decide on a Space Race faceoff with ND, the SETI Program would help us tremendously. We have a huge advantage that ND doesn't: this unexpected turn of peace builds. 5 new Research Labs and a bunch of new Banks and Stock Exchanges which would drive our already superior science capacity through the roof. Building the SETI Program in Trafalgar doubles its science output, add to that a Reserach Lab and we have a 250% increase in science in that city alone.

How quickly can we get the GL to Trafalgar? Can he get there and rush the wonder in one turn?

Yes, we can build it immediately thanks to the permanent transport chain between Bob-> Lego. We could build SETI and then try our luck with the GS conscripts on this very same turn.

Our transports in Stormia need to move back to Bob this turn, setting up the chain on the next. Next turn we could chain the Leader (or should I say the Army since we'd need to transform it on Bob) and move it to Stormia. Problem is, our stack needs to advance this turn and since we'd be moving in enemy territory, the army would not be able to catch up at least immediately. No Bob units can reach Stormia on this turn, that's a fact.

I dunno. I'd say barracks so we can heal any damaged units and if we get another leader, build an Army there and then.

We'll have a chain up and running next turn so I really don't see a need for an airport.
