I have decided to land on the Iron tile north of Arashi. This has various advantages:
1) We will be landing in the open, however this tile is a mountain tile with a fortress. GS's tanks will unlikely be able to kill off the 24 Mech Infs that we plan to land and if they do... their army is pretty much gone.
2) We would land a settler SE of that tile. GS cannot hit it.
3) From that site we are in an advantageous position to hit Arashi and Santa Ana.
4) We'll have 7 carriers in support.
If this sounds to risky we can bomb the surrounding tiles to ensure GS cannot counterattack our stack. We'll just have to wait and see.
Also, I have sent UnOrthOdOx and our Cavalry corps in a brave mission. They will be sent to capture Inchon. Last turn our workers moved east of Elipolis where they will build a RR which will connect to the adjacent RRed tile. From there our 3-move units will ride by the eastern coast of GS while we nuke Inchon and leave it un-reinforcable by also bombing surrounding tiles.
Daring? Yes
Risky? Yes
Stupid? Yep
But UnO wanted to ride to his death in a blaze of glory. Much better if I actually found a use for him
(and he'll probably get killed anyway as I'll send him first to attack any units at Inchon)
