The Evil Plan
This is the plan. ND is doing Rocketry. They will finish in 2 turns. They have a deal with GS to supply them Rocketry BUT... only until 1330 AD (IIRC). In the meantime, GoW will accumulate $ which will be used to finance ND's research (at 350gpt) and to upgrade our army. In 1330 AD ND will provide GS with Rocketry but by then we should be able to have accumulated so much $$ that getting Space Flight should take no more than 5 turns. Thus, in theory, we should have a 4 turn lead into Space Flight over GS. GoW will use its excess Marine units as disbands to speed up the building of Tactical Nukes and *BOOM*, GS is no more, game over, we win.
Should for some reason this plan seem to fail, GS has access to only ONE uranium tile and it's in Legoland, or so we think (haven't checked inside GS cities). They have 1,500g as of now and are researching at 60%. This is definitely not a big enough surplus to beat us into Space Flight.
Urgent Business
We broke the 1300spt mark last turn, also we're the #1 economy in the world FO REAL YO! Both at 100% science and 100% taxes, we have the largest GNP in the world. Not bad for a "rotten little empire" as Trip once said.
