    Urgent Business

    1) Need to set up a trade for Chemistry with GS

    2) Camp Cod will build a worker this turn and be at size 1, should we disband it with another worker or a settler? (I prefer settler)

    3) Emperor's Note: need to pull out those spreadsheets this weekend

      btw, I switched Paoting to harbor but I think library would be best. opinions?

        for some reason IIRC it was impossible to disband Port Isolation this way. I say just disband it manually when the time comes. Keep producing workers until it gets in the way of other cities' WFs.

          to disband a unit with a worker or a settler it must not be producing any extra food. As long as a city has even 1 fpt it will not bring up the option to disband.

          My suggestion then would be to wait until Camp Concord is also at disband-size and then do both.

              Hi UnO,

              How about Physics then?

              If you send us Chemistry on your turn we can start Physics on our next, while you are working on Metallurgy. Later you could trade us your Metallurgy for our Magnetism. Perhaps we could work together on Industrial techs.

              Our position is this : we seek a tech partner for the march into the Industrial Era, but we don't wish to trade any tech that could find its way into Legoland. The faster Lego progress in tech, the closer they move to victory.

              So, assuming the details of NDA's and some price balancing would be resolved, are GoW interested in a research partnership with GS along these lines?

              If the longer term arrangement does not suit you, are you up for a deal on Chem 4 Physics? Current devalued beaker cost for Chemistry is ~1100, and full cost for Physics is ~1500, but we may be able to concede some of this difference for a deal on Chem-Physics this turn.

              I should be available for chat this weekend if you like.

              Well, I would suggest we agree to both Chem now for Physics later AND Metallurgy for Magnetism. Depends on what they want for the difference.

              However, I am not a tech value expert so will leave that up to you guys.

                  The problem is that we can only send peace and not the lux's. Make sure we can endure the unhappiness(ie check all cities to make sure we're ok).

                    I'd go for this deal too with GS. We have a distinct advantage of being able to trade with 2 nations whereas Lego and GS DO NOT want to trade with each other. We should use this advantage. Perhaps a UN or space victory is possible for the GOW/ND supernation.
